I have used this vets for a number of years. I find them to be attentive, go the extra mile, and have a genuine love of animals which is demonstrated by their menagerie of rescues which rule the roost. They genuinely care for the animals I bring in and will always take the time to discuss treatment options and give enough information for me to make an informed decision.

These guys are variable in customer service and products provided. They have an extensive range of the usual pet products, but are probably around top of the range in their pricing. Biscuits from here are more expensive than from the Vet, for example. I used them for about 4 years but recently stopped going there - not because of the staff, but because the particular product they used to provide (Pet Cafe Meal for Pets) became so poor in quality that my cats would turn their noses up at it. I never had any success in discussing this with the proprietor but I never felt he was actually interested in discussing it with me. That's why I no longer shop there. (Granted, I'm pretty fussy!)

This is a pretty good restaurant. It's well priced and has a good range on the menu. I brought a friend here and he really enjoyed it. I had crispy fried noodles and found they were nice enough - nothing amazing. But good enough. I prefer food that isn't anglicized, but I ordered it so can only blame myself! I would definitely go again and try the rest of the menu.

This review is for JD Communiations And Electrical Pty Ltd, Brisbane QLD

We used JD about 5 or 6 years ago. We found them to be very punctual, to quote quite low rates relative to other providers, and to get the job done fairly quickly. The downside was that some of the contractors were a little bit sloppy with their work - leaving holes in the wall, failing to provide a proper base for an external airconditioning unit, and over time it has become apparent that some of the wiring was a little bit dodgy because we get some strange problems with our lights and light switches (there is no evidence to say that this is poor electrician work - it could be that crappy components were used). However, with appropriate oversight, I think these guys are very good value and this is a real bonus considering how expensive large electrical contracts can be.

Approximate cost: $3000

This is the best doctor's surgery I have ever been to. Not surprising they have won National awards for their quality of service. I have been going to this surgery for over 5 years (and used to go 35 years ago when I was a child!). They have doctors from UQ working there, and offer such a range of services that there is a real sense of holistic health care. They have a diabetes clinic, a dentist, mental health services, Indigenous health services, pathology, etc. The reception staff are friendly and competent, the doctors are well trained and many are young - having completed their training recently they are up to date on current medical science. They also have a nurse/hospital type part where they provide further services.

I would give this business a high rating simply because of the range of stock they have. It's a gold mine of education materials to suit a very wide range of ages and contexts. They have books and workbooks, posters, games, etc. It's a hidden gem, this store - you have to find your way through some back streets off Blunder Road to get there, but once you do it's like entering a candy store!

I have just joined this site and started to add reviews. I got my trust up to 70% quite quickly. Unfortunately, as soon as I added a new business and gave it a negative review (this is a business I have been shopping at for over 35 years so I know their quality inside out) I got a 'RETRACTED' on the review and a 'DOUBTFUL BEHAVIOUR' penalty. Frankly I am astonished that a negative review would attract a doubtful behaviour penalty given that basic psychology tells you that someone is more likely to think of a business they had a negative experience at than one they had a good experience at. This is brain chemistry 101.
I'm really cranky that, having just joined and provided a bunch of honest reviews - I don't have an agenda, just trying to leave reviews that match my experience - I am rewarded with penalties and big red 'RETRACTED' notices.

This is just irritating and does not encourage me to bother to continue to interact with the site.

(further, it's dumb to force a value rating when some industries/businesses, such as WOMO! do not qualify for that kind of rating).

WOW! My reward for posting this clearly honest review of my experience with WOMO was another -10 penalty and another 'RETRACTED'! Seriously, this is just offensive.

Took the kids here for a meal out and they loved it. They got the sweet and sour chicken which they adored - of course they did - that stuff is more like sugar puffs than a healthy main meal! They really enjoyed being waited on and just having a nice restaurant experience. I had the Singapore Noodles with extra veg (although they apparently forgot to add the extra veg). They were alright - nothing special. All in all, a reliable quality of service and food, and lots of fun for the kids to feel like they've had a 'night out'.

This review is for Red Chilli Thai, Forest Lake QLD

I enjoy the food from this restaurant. I have had both eat-in and take away. It's not a top of the range authentic thai restaurant but it certainly is good enough to fill a craving for something spicy. Service is good, food quality is good (freshness etc), and although it's not cheap, it is good for a treat.

This store has lovely staff working there, but the quality of the stock is very very low. All stores have some issues with not noticing that stock is past its use-by but this store must not even bother to check. More often than not the shelf items are past their use-by, they sell 'not for individual sale' items separately (you know, open up a family pack of freddos and sell for 50c each), they sell imported stock which may or may not have attracted the appropriate import duties, they sell canned goods that are so old that (after you wipe the dust off) when you open the tin all the contents taste of rust and the inside of the can is discoloured. My friend got 3 days worth of food poisoning from eating something that was out of date here. Although this location has been used as a convenience store for decades, the current management is clearly not interested in quality. If they can make more money by getting away with selling old stock, they will. There is no concern for quality, industry regulations, or the customers. I think this store should be overhauled by the franchise owner before someone gets really sick.

On the other hand, they are very conveniently located and accessed with easy parking in a quiet part of the suburb and that's very useful for getting hold of non-perishables without having to take a big trip to the shopping centre.
