Warm and friendly with very great food and well presented

Dined there for lunch on the recommendation of a friend who accompanied me. She had previously dined there for dinner and was impressed. We were both surprised and disappointed that it took 45 minutes for our dishes to arrive, considering they were not of an intricate nature; a salad and a burger. We did not complain, and in fact, were in good spirits considering, however, when I turned to ask my friend how long we had been waiting, an employee turned to us and said in a less than charming tone, that it had only been 20 minutes. We found this to be inappropriate that a) she was eavesdropping and b) she retorted in such a manner let alone retorted at all. When our dishes did come out, they were less than satisfactory.

This would be our favorite restaurant by far in Mornington, they never disappoints we recommend it to all our friends. Have enjoyed dinner there on many occasions working our way through the menu and the specials board. The deserts are lovely and so well presented. Yes it is a little cramped and yes a little noisy but the food sure makes up for it. Love it!

Meals are authentic, well priced, service is ok, not as attentive as they should be for a small intimate venue, meals were a little slow, but good when they get there, atmosphere is good, little cramped in the restaurant though. Maybe communal dining is an option. LOL(laugh out loud) not in mornington too many stuck up people that think they are rich?
