Are you kidding me? What the hell are some people thinking in Hospitality. This place has to types of cuisine in one establishment, I dont know how to call this one, a dodgy chinese shop or a hopeless bistro. Please people for the sake of getting through the next day do not eat here.

Meals are authentic, well priced, service is ok, not as attentive as they should be for a small intimate venue, meals were a little slow, but good when they get there, atmosphere is good, little cramped in the restaurant though. Maybe communal dining is an option. LOL(laugh out loud) not in mornington too many stuck up people that think they are rich?

Should be called the Slosh Club. The service was ok, the menu read well, the place smelt great, then they opened the bain marie dishes. I think I could of used a straw to eat most of the curries, and the butter chicken tasted like cream and tomato sauce, which I hear from time to time does happen in Indian places. Because westerners cant take the spice or heat of the curries. Dont change for anyone, if they cant eat a traditional curry then what are they doing there in the frist place. Prices were very reasonable but I suggest only come here for a budget dinner and you get a budget curry. Spice Club go back to your tradtional curry roots and if the westerners dont like it, they should stay home.

I feel I was forced to eat at Daveys, friends like to go there, because they do not want to travel far to dine. Believe me a 30 min car ride is worth it for anyone living in the Frankston area. I hear the head chef at Daveys has worked at a few places in the last 5 years including Waves, it shows on his menu. There is no style or blending in menu items, it reads very random and very ordinary, someone needs to go back to school. For a hotel to be owned by ALH/BLM group the training of floor staff and management seems to be non existent. I think my 7 year old daughter could do a better job. The place does have nice fittings/furnishings and is quite comfortable for a few drinks on a weekend. Obviously this is how they make there money, because it is not coming from the food or service. Eat somewhere else and come back for drinks only.

Disgusting, first you are moved in like cattle, treated like cattle and then presented enough food from an entree serve to feed a whole herd of cattle. Everything was
dry, reheated like it had been manufactured from frozen. Absolutely disgusting. The dining level in Frankston has just hit rockbottom, thanks to this abomination that calls itself an eatery. There were not many places to eat in Frankston and now I feel sorry for the few decent places that still exist, and that is not you either Davey's, just wait for your review.

Amazing, 8 of us dined and 8 of us will be constant diners. We constantly take business clients there and of course socially on a weekend. By far best dining venue on the peninsula. With such a varied menu and changing specials everyone is catered for.
