From the moment we arrived, everything went well. A nice quiet room at the back... we originally booked a standard room but as it was our aniversary we were upgraded to a spa room free of charge... a very nice touch.

The staff were very helpful in everything, from providing tourist information to their extensive knowledge of the local restaurants. We couldn't choose an evening eatery, so advice was sought... they even made the booking for us. They have a great dvd collection for use by guests and a nice sitting area that was warm in the late April mountain setting. Breakfast was to die for. One of the best B&B breakfasts I've ever had. We'll be back!!!!

One of my favourite eateries. We've been 8 or 9 times now and always enjoyed the food. Kirribilli has a great village feel and this eatery does a great job. There are 4-5 Thai places in Kirribilli, with most being half empty. Stir Crazy always has a line outside at meal times... a good sign! You can book, but half the fun is lining up. Great spot to start or finish a harbour stroll.

I've stayed in old Eastern European communist "gulag style" accommodation that appears 5 star compared to this place. I suppose for $50 I shouldn't expect much... but it is a bedroom, so you sort of expect to be able to sleep.... never stay there on a weekend! thumpa thumpa thumpa all night long... drunken youths... all bad.

The rooms are plain... some even have partial window dressings to fool you into thinking you may be able to block out the light!

Shared bathrooms... the less said the better.

The hotel would be better off using this area for storage rather than fooling people into believing they can actually sleep there....

the moral... you get what you pay for!

We booked the private retreat near the pool at Sanctuary for our wedding last year. The booking was very easy and the staff ensured we got the private villa we we hoping for. Upon arrival we discovered a nice bottle of champagne in the fridge and fresh fruit provided. The secluded location had everything we needed; kitchen, separate bedroom and living area, 2 person spa bath and separate spacious bathroom. The location is great... 2 min walk to the beach and easy stroll to the restaurant strip. The location is perfect for a romantic getaway... we were right next to fabulous pool and bbq. The pool was mostly deserted in Nov when were were there, so it was like our own private pool retreat. Our room overlooked the lagoon with wildlife and the sound of water coming through the screened open windows. Well worth it!

Nice environ, with good outdoor tables. quick and friendly staff. However, had the salt and pepper squid which could have been named drowned in oil squid.... was a queasy afternoon.
