First visit to Bright for my partner and I. We lunched outside. A very comfortable setting and so pretty with late Autumn colour and the river close by.
My partner is not a beer drinker particularly but she loved the Alpine craft lager, so much so she bought some to take home. I'm a stout connoisseur and rate the craft Affogato Stout as one of the best. Also purchased more to take home.
No pre-conceived ideas about the food and expected typical pub grub. We had slept in and eaten a late breakfast so neither of us were particularly hungry. We chose to share a Margherita pizza and it was excellent. Baby tomatoes added a nice touch to the traditional. Crust was perfect.
BUT, the shared dish of grilled local mushrooms rates as one of my all time top10 dishes, and I've lived around the world. Juicy mushroom varieties with an almond cream, thyme, garlic & perfectly crisp sourdough slices. The combination of the almonds and mushrooms was divine. An absolute steal at $15.
This lunch was the highlight of our 3 day stay in Bright. If only we had known how good the food and beers were at Bright Brewery we would not have left it to our last day to visit. We would have been there every day for lunch and dinner. Recommended.

Great place for families for a meal, right in Bright overlooking the river. Light menu and the pizzas are great. Demo and tours of the Brewery. You can purchuse a tasting tray to sample their craft beer, or just have a coffee. Live music on a Sunday.

We purposely went to Bright Brewery for 2 reasons: to support a local business (which was somewhat new) and as a result of a glowing review about their chips (apparently a lady drove an hour out of her way to get them again). We had a tight food schedule while in Bright when we went, so we could only squeeze in a nibble & drink to try the place out. The chips - yeah, okay. The beer - yeah, okay. It's probably a heap better if you go on a Friday or Saturday night (which we went lunchtime on a Wednesday). A fantasic place for a catch up with mates and 'a few' delicious beers. The beer seems to get better everytime I go and their variety is fantasic. I love that I can take my dog and relax out the back in the sun. It's where I spend most of my time when in Bright

Approximate cost: $15

Stopped for a coffee while passing through Bright. The Jasper organic coffee was nice but I wish they had more than one coffee size. They only have a small cup size. Very funky building and great outdoor seating. A little pricey but looks like they have a nice range of brews. Would definately return.

Hi Lorrae, our Business Manager Libby sent you an email on 6 June addressing your experience. I am sorry if you did not receive our response or found it unsatisfactory.

Kind regards
Will Rickwood
Sales and Marketing Manager

The email response sent is below:

Hi Lorrae,

I am extremely grateful to receive your feedback, and take this opportunity to apologise to you and your husband for the calamity of events that occurred on the day of your visit to Bright Brewery.

The chain of events that occurred on this Friday started with the Brewery Door Manager’s departure to Melbourne for the Beer Awards, due process was missed when he inadvertently failed to appoint a replacement guide to operate the tour on this day, as soon as this was realised an alternative guide was appointed and the tour was operated shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, in this short window of confusion the front of house staff members failed to address this matter effectively and provided either a lack of response or incorrect information.

With the expansion of the new building we are continually redeveloping our procedures, processes and staff training to meet this major growth period within the business and with your assistance we have been able to address this particular issue so as this does not occur again. By our way of thanks we would like offer to you and your husband two free tickets to the Tour and Tasting when you are next in Bright, our foremost goal is to achieve a positive experience for our customers.

The tours are an integral part of our Brewery and have been extended to run on Monday, Friday and Saturday at 3.00 pm – please do not hesitate to contact either myself or Will Rickwood our Marketing / Sales Manager to make the necessary arrangements for your booking.

We look forward to meeting with you and seeing you at Bright Brewery.

Kind regards,

Libby Katterl
Business Manager

This little brewery is located in Bright, overlooking the park and river flowing through town. We sat outside at one of the several tables they have on the lawns, and listened to a live blues band playing (on Sunday afternoon), and tried several of their beers in a tasting pack of 6 (small glasses). Some were quite good, others quite---not!! Lucky everybodys' tastes are different. I heard people sitting nearby commenting that they liked a couple of the ones I didnt, as being their favourites.
Had an enjoyable hour or so sitting enjoying the winter sun, (mainly cold) and listening to music that I normally wouldnt.
The beer isnt cheap, so I wouldnt buy a carton myself, but nice for a change (upmarket/boutique). An interesting touristy spot.
