Glicks on Carlisle St is a Jewish institution. They have the best challahs in the whole world (this is undeniable and I know at least 100 people who will testify to this). Besides challah, they sell bagels, dougnuts, dips and other deli delights. Going on a Friday afternoon is quite an experience, pushing your way though crowds of people preparing for their Friday night meal. I recommend a visit, even if you're not Jewish.

I just love the burgers here, they have some great options for veggies. My favourite is the Garden Goodness, pretty much just fresh veggies and some delicious sauces. mmm... their chips are absolutely amazing as well. They seem to always have offers going with vouchers for free chips or discounts - it's worth keeping you eye out or them.

The clothes are beautiful and I could easily spend all day (and all my savings) in here. I am particularly in love with their trousers. I'm a curvy woman and find it near impossible to pants that fit anywhere else. They have somehow managed to avoid the latest trend of low cut pants with skinny legs (which I hate as does not suit my body at all), but have some pretty funky styles. Definitely not cheap, but the quality makes it sooo worth while. Huge thumbs up from me!

I find it really hard to find clothes currently that are value for money, but I was very happy to find Body. Although by no means cheap, the clothes are really well made, stylish and durable. The styles are normally quite classic and maybe a wee bit too expensive, but probably worth it in the long term.

my experiences with Gps has been pretty awful in recent years. long waiting times, fast consultations with lack of care. i was pleasantly surprised today though. They bulk bill if you don't book an appointment and to avoid queues I arrived at 8:45am. I was seen to pretty much immediately, the doctor and all the staff were really professional and pleasant.

This review is for Biba Academy of Hairdressing, Fitzroy VIC

Biba Academy is a hairdresser school where you can go and get your hair cut for a pretty modest price. I regularly go there and am more often than not really happy with the cut. The students are monitored quite closely and although they are normally quite new to the profession I feel like time and care is often taken with the cut as they are being graded. Just be prepared to spend up to 2 hours there just for a cut.

I went to ICI for lunch and had a really bad experience with the staff there. They were obnoxious and rude. The food was OK, nothing to write home about. The best part is the atmosphere, it's got a sort of intimate/cool feel to it. Would never go again though as the staff were so rude.

A great chilled out pub. Although it has loads of space if you're heading out in a big group the space it quite intimate. Big beer garden that's covered with good heating. Pool table and really good atmosphere.

This review is for Cafe Provincial, Fitzroy VIC

I really enjoyed my experience at the Provincial. So much that I returned a few weeks later for another meal. Pretty good value, service is good and the food is just amazing. A brilliant mixed of flavours and incredibly enjoyable. I originally was motivated to go there as I had a voucher, but would definitely return without and pay full price.

This review is for Church St Enoteca, Richmond VIC

The staff were pretty inattentive and the food incredibly over-priced. I ordered fish in a very buttery cause and couldn't eat all of my meal as it was too rich. There was really nothing special about this place, other than the ambiance. At over $100 for 2 people you would expect something better. Nothing to write home about.
