As arthritis in my wrists and hands has gradually made riding harder for me, having a decent cruise control is a godsend. The MC Cruise I ordered for my KTM 390 Adventure arrived really quickly after I ordered it. The instructions were sufficiently detailed as to cover every step of the DIY installation, from approaching the bike to cleaning hands afterwards. One difference is that, if you use the KTM Powerparts single seat, you need to lie the control box down as there is no indentation in the seat base to accommodate it. Other than that, instal is exactly as per the enclosed directions. I had an issue due to my not checking things properly. I sent an email to the team and they phoned me within a couple of hours to help sort it out. The service was awesome. Thanks again, folks. When I was finally able to do a road test, the unit performed impeccably. One thing that did take a moment to get used to is that, unlike on my Triumph, the MC Cruise is not deactivated by rolling the throttle right off. Other than that, it's amazing. This is the fourth one I have had on different bikes over the years and I continue to be impressed with the quality of the units. And I really like it when things work exactly as claimed.
