You know, it's quite hard to find people who are willing to just do a few fly screens around your house. Certainly, we couldn't find anyone in the local paper and some of the calls we put in went in vain. Thank god for WOMO! Doorite were the only ones that seemed decent of the businesses reviewed, so we decided to give them a call.

The office staff were prompt, friendly and were able to provide what seemed a very competitive price over the phone. No brainer to go ahead with them and Andy arrived at our home later in the week to do the measure and finalise the details.

Andy was very helpful and even though some of the flyscreens would be a bit trickier to install, quoted us only a tiny bit extra to sort it out.

The order for the screens were placed and they were ready to come and install ahead of schedule. Talk about under-promise over-deliver. Andy came out again to do the install and was done in no time. The screens look amazing and work really well! It's like you don't even notice they're there.

We would really recommend Doorite, especially if you just need some basic screens put in!

I found ezyair after searching our favourite referral site - this one! We put a call into Dan who was super responsive, and in a matter of days had come out, given us a quote with a few options and provided a competitive price. Dan was very informative and provided a lot of constructive feedback as to which airconditioning options we should go for.

We booked in a date and off we went (note: these are super busy, so make sure you give them enough leadtime for your job!). Unfortunately we got into a situation where we needed to change the date, and Dan tried to be as accommodating as possible, even speaking to other clients to see if they could change.

In the end we stuck to our date and his team lead by Mike (others included Dave, Ben, Adam and Matt) arrived promptly. The team were very polite, tidy, professional and very efficient. They even managed to do a better finish to the job than Dan had indicated would be possible! Ace!

I could not recommend these guys enough. When we went out for initial quotes, we called Dan first and then a couple others. One was a group we had used at our previous home (who were not bad last time) - but they didn't even call us back (and shall remain nameless). The other was way expensive, especially compared to Dan.

Thanks guys - you did a top notch job and we are looking forward to being cool this summer!

I've spoken to a lot of paint trades, and strangely, not many of them actually enjoy what they do - but I guess it pays the bills. Paul from UC Painting is one of those rare tradies who actually loves what he does. Which makes a lot of sense when you consider the quality of his workmanship - absolutely amazing.

Paul came highly recommended to us from a neighbour who had used them regularly. We had the side of our weatherboard house in a stage of pretty severe rot, so it needed some boards replaced and the whole thing repainted.

Paul came out and quoted us on the job and told us he could start promptly. We decided to go with him not just because of the recommendation, but because he spent a lot of time detailing exactly how he'd do the job.

The fun part was on the day he commenced, he realised that many other boards were rotten - many more than he could see on the day he quoted (the house has a high wall, so he didn't go up that far to check on that day). He told us he'd honour his quote and not charge us any more labour and only asked us to pay the cost of the boards. We were happy to oblige.

The whole job was completed very promptly, and better still, he was able to manage our neighbour who at times, was quite demanding of what and how they wanted things put back on their side of the house (even though, technically, it was not Paul's problem to address).

The end result was great and people who have since seen the external wall comment on how much pride the tradie who painted it must have had. We couldn't have put it better. Thanks Paul!

We contacted a few places in order to get a quote for a new built in cabinet... The prices varied really greatly and so did our perception of the quality... We didn't feel anyone genuinely understood what we wanted until we met Alan at Top Edge.

He was extremely friendly, flexible and was able to grasp exactly what we wanted to do and offered it at a very competitive price. He even referred us to a great painter to get it painted afterwards.

When his team arrived on site (Johnny and team), they were very neat, polite and what's more - had excellent workmanship. The finished cabinet was absolutely amazing and our neighbours commented on it non-stop.

It's great to know that there are still small businesses out there that pride themselves on the highest quality and good value for money. Thanks Alan and the team.

We found it extremely difficult to get a renderer to render our neighbour's new garage wall. People would either not be willing to quote it or said they would take the job but never get back to us. We finally became exasperated and came across Russell's details.

He was very helpful over the phone, provided some great suggestions and offered to do the quote and honour just over the phone with an exchange of some photos and description of the work required.

Organising a day and time was easy and Russell stuck to it. His team was friendly, professional and most impressive of all, took a lot of care to protect our home before commencing the job.

The finished job was amazing and Russell and team were out in record time.

We'd certainly recommend Russell and his team if you required any type of rendering work.

We didn't end up going with Anthony & team in the end because our schedules didn't line up - however, we've worked with a large number of fencing people over many years and Anthony and Judith were just superb in terms of service, responsiveness and helpfulness. They came out to our house to quote up the job and provided lots of great suggestions on how it could be done (it was a rather tricky situation bordering a neighbour's garage with very little room to work).

They were also very responsive with their quote and offered an extremely competitive price - especially considering the potential complications of the job.

We'll definitely be using Anthony and Judith next time.
