First the delicious smell as you walk in the door... mmm... then the range to choose from, gelato and ice-cream made on the premises. Apparently they won gold medals at the show and a heap of silvers too but all I can say is there is not a bad thing to say about my ice cream experience I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often (also they now make waffles on sticks for something warm for winter thou I didn't get to try one).

I love going here... but every time I visit this place seems to be under new management, although this doesn't seem to affect the quality of the food. We got take away this time - Prawn Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Lamb Curry, Rice and of course we had to get some Tandoori chicken. If your going to get the Naan bread order the onion naan it's scrumptious. They also gave us a 10per cent discount as we were down from the country.. They tell me they deliver but not up our way... shame really:)

Was there today and couldn't find what I wanted, one of the staff came over out from behind the counter to help me, always polite and make whatever you are trying to do easy. I left my car keys behind once and they ran down the street after me to return them.... Also surprisingly cheap. Its worth going to the post office for presents too as the have myer cards, hoyts cards, DVDs, toys and other odds and ends, so its worth a look.

Have been twice for a sit down meal, the first time was amazing, each course was better than the last... sadly the second visit didn't quite match up. Nothing was bad or even less than good but it just didn't have that amazing quality of the first visit. The staff were great, polite, helpful and offered great service. Enjoyed both visits and will go again soon... about $90 for 2

I hadn't realised how many of Aldis products are Aussie made until I really started looking, the answer is heaps. So far I haven't bought anything that I'm unhappy with.. even the meat was pretty good for the price. And the printer I bought is still working fine. I have had no problem with the staff even when I bought some cups that later I found were broken it was no trouble to get a refund. They were really nice about it.

They have just moved to their new premises, but still have the same great range and great service. The staff are really helpful and always carry my purchases out to my car for me. Just recently I want in complaining how my dogs always break their leads and they suggested I try horse leads, what a great idea! They stock heaps of products and don't try and push the most expensive onto you... also have local honey.

From dog toys to sheets to reading glasses you never know what you will find. My latest discovery was a flat plastic vase, just add water and mold into shape.. lots of fun. The staff always helpful. But I have only given 3/5 as it is what you would expect for a $2 shop type store in that the quality is not that high... fun to look around thou..

The most tender meat available in Benalla. They hang their meat and hand pick the beasts. They also have big thick slices of roast beef and home made pies. Yum You do pay a premium but I would rather have a smaller piece of delicious tender meat than a big hunk of inedible, tasteless rubber. Cost for scotch fillet is about $7. Staff are happy to answer your questions.

We took our dog here to get stitched. What a disaster. The wound wasn't cleaned our properly before it was stitched so it became infected (yuk) and we had to completely clean the wound out at home and start again.. maybe we were unlucky in our experience but it was enough that I would never go back. The staff were nice and they seemed professional but the result was disastrous and expensive.

It has taken us a while to find vet in the area that we are happy with but this is it. Great service, they were willing to go that extra mile to do the best for our animals. We had pups Vacc. and micro chipped and 3 staff attended to our animals every need, was great. The vet was happy to answer all our questions and her recommendations were very helpful. They also offered a breeders discount. We will be back for the rest of our dogs vetinary needs
