After a mishap with a wayward drink by my young daughter on the lounge room carpet that seemed difficult to absorb, I rang Darren late and explained my predicament and asked if he could arrange an urgent visit the next day.
Although short notice and only a small job, he has more than helpful and assured me that he would manage to make it at some stage and would ring when he had time. He also advised the best way to immediately resolve and minimise the spill to avoid a permanent stain which was a great help.
True to his word, even after a full day he rang and dropped in late in the afternoon to our out of the way suburb of Mallabula in Port Stephens when others would be relaxing for the evening. He was reassuring and got straight to it with no fanfare or fuss.
He also advised my wife that for his reasonable fee he would just do the complete room! On the completion the carpet was transformed, in fact on his first pass you could immediately see the result as the cleaned carpet strip was 2 shades lighter. In the past 2 years we had used 2 other companies and neither had got the carpet back up to looking new like (its only 3 years old) or managed to get a couple of light stains out. One was the Electrodry and I will be clear…….IT WAS RUBBISH and didn't do anything worth recommending to anyone.
In both cases the “technicians” blamed the carpet and stated that it was a known problem which I found hard to believe as its top quality and designed for the purpose it is being used for, also we do not wear shoes in the house.
When Darren left we stood looking in amazement at the result and this morning you could tell the difference on your feet as it felt light and fluffy again.
Not only was it a very professional job, Darren was also a very friendly and easy going person. We will not be using another company again. We can't recommend Darren the Carpet Cleaner highly enough.
