This is my favourite cafe/restaurant in Currumbin. Their breakfasts are fantastic and generous (bircher muesli was amazing!), great coffee and a beautiful view across to the beach. We have also had dinner here which was of a good standard, and the restaurant has a nice ambience of an evening. The service however is a little hit and miss and the wait staff are not super friendly (well on our last visit anyway). Still, I think this is one of the better choices in Currumbin.
Beautiful spot for coffee/morning or afternoon tea or lunch. Lovely relaxing setting within the Botanic Gardens. Sit at a table under the umbrellas or spread out a picnic rug on the grass. Nice toasted sandwiches, scones, etc. Great place to go with kids as there is plenty of room for them to run around!
So far I have only been here for coffee & muffin, so I can't comment from a dining point of view, though looks like a lovely place for a special dinner or function. Coffee is good, a little more expensive than most places, though it is worth it for the beautiful view. Alternatively, grab a takeaway and go for a lovely stroll along the bayside path.
Nice little cafe serving good coffee and the usual cafe fare. Indoor and outdoor seating. Would be good if they offered table service to the outdoor tables as can be tricky getting a pram inside to order if it is busy. Good babycinos too! (Note - unless you ask for it to be plain, they come with chocolate & strawberry flavour and sprinkles on top! Very cute and colourful and would be a real treat for an older child, but perhaps not for a young toddler.)
Low key, popular and homely family restaurant. So far I have only ordered takeaway so can't comment on the service in the restaurant, but it is always busy. Pizzas are the best in the area - they use quality ingredients such as fresh ham, prosciutto, etc. Wait time is generally 20 - 30 minutes, with last orders taken around 7.30/8pm. Have only tried the pasta once and it was a little disappointing, compared with how delicious the pizzas are!
Lovely setting with french cafe style tables & chairs out the front, and a lovely shady section out the back under the trees. Nice coffee, cakes and fresh food selection. The tasting plate is great. Produce store attached.
I was highly impressed by the service I received from Chris when I asked for help at the last minute with my daughter's 1st birthday cake. Not only could I buy all the supplies I needed at reasonable prices (cake tin, board, sugar flowers, cupcake wrappers, etc), but Chris made me some decorations to go on my cake with very short notice. They exceeded my expectations and the cake was a huge success! My daughter's reaction was 'wow'! Chris also dispensed with handy tips and advice. She also runs cake decorating classes here. A one stop cake decorating shop and a real hidden gem!
Great coffee and the best breakfast menu I have come across! Everything I have tried here is delicious. Great place to meet friends, or even to go alone, with their up to date magazine selection! Lovely ambience and friendly staff.
A bit of a hidden gem... situated outside the holiday park, the 'greasy spoon' style cafe/diner has an extensive and well priced menu, a lot of which consists of burgers, pizzas, fried food, etc, though they also do a nice toasted sandwich. An extensive and well priced breakfast menu. There is an outdoor section with a view across the river reserve, which gives the feeling of being in the country. Go for a nice walk along the river afterwards to burn off the calories!
A stylish little neighbourhood cafe with a warm and cosy vibe. Great coffee, fantastic muffins and other homemade goodies, tasty daily specials and friendly staff. Large tables in the back section, with colouring books and 'etcha sketch' to keep the kids entertained. High chair available, though not much room for prams.
