Tuesday 19th Jan evening, ordered 3 beef schnitzels for my kids and me, my wife had calamari. The schnitzels were chewy; they weren't sinuey and stringy, just chewy. The flavour ok, but not great - old cow perhaps? My kids ate what they could, and I ate mine. We tolerated - we were hungry. Told the waitress during meal, said she'll refer to management. Plenty of time for management to come by and address. Wasn't expecting a refund, just an acknowledgement of concern. No one showed. You had us as a customer and free promotional advertising. Instead, we will be recommending Cornucopia or Anglers Inn, where the schnitzels that at least one of my family had on Monday and Wednesday evening were good.

We visited for dinner when we were on holiday staying in Wallaroo.
It does have a great country laid back feel to it, I was a bit disappointed that it took so long to be served, it seemed that the locals get first preference when it came to service.
The meal itself was delicious, was well cooked and presented nicely. The price was comparable to most pub meals.

Approximate cost: $12.00

We ordered pizza from the dining room (take away) I found them to be very cheap and the pizzas were very tasty! The topping was nice and they didnt scrimp on the topping though the price was fairly cheap, we also went in the "pokies room", had an "intimate" atmosphere

Approximate cost: $7 for a small pizza from memory

Stayed in one of the motel rooms. Competitive prices and easy check in. You do get what you paid for and it consisted of a squeaky bed and sink with brown bore water. The room was clean and the amenities were clean with shared showers, bath tub and toilets. Top of a bar and I expected noise, I did not expect loud noise, talking, banging on doors and walls from 12am - 3 am when the hotel was closed. On check in the service was lovely and efficient but the staff could not rush me out the door any faster in the morning. I had them try to get in my room 9am and I said I was not ready yet. They let them self in while in the shower to strip the bed, I was NOT impressed with this. Then as I was packing my bag, 9:30 am male staff member walked in my room, no call out or knock on the door and no apology when I asked if they were okay they just closed the door. On leaving I made comment that I was leaving and "wow you're all in a rush to kick me out today" response was a smirk and "yep, see ya" I wont return again.

Approximate cost: $30.00
