I cannot agree with other members more! I personally have been going to this dentist for five years. He became my Australian dentist who I would even prefer to any in the Czech Republic. I was recommended to become his regular client once I heard all my family members go to him...husband, sister-in-law and both parents-in-law. And I would not be surprised if grandparents-in-law were his clients as well :-D

Dr Baker is always on time and dedicates exactly 30 minutes of his time to me that I pay him for. As my family know him for years, he always asks how they are... He is definitely not just a dentist but a very nice man with great manners.

I have been going there for regular cleaning, new fillings or replacement of metal ones. He always explains what he is going to do how....shows you scans of your teeth or even photos of your tooth before and after an intervention.

Last time I visited his clinic was two weeks ago. As I was not happy to miss work for a dentist appointment, I wished to make one for Saturday morning. Unfortunately, they did not have any availability but two months later. Dr Baker ordinates once in six weeks time on Saturday morning. I asked receptionist to place me on waiting list in case someone cancels for next month. Luckily someone did and I got to see dentist for general cleaning six weeks earlier. His assistant as well as receptionists are very friendly ladies. It is always pleasure to enter the clinic.

I started going to Dr Baker 20 years ago. I had gone to the Dental Hospital up to 18 years then a few different dentists over the next 10 years but hadn't found one that provided the service I wanted. My husband recommended Dr Baker and I have been completely satisfied. He offers an exceptional service, is proactive in his approach and due to this I have required few fillings. He explains any issues well and has all the up to date technology to display the tooth/teeth being discussed. Apart from being a dedicated professional in his field, he has a gentle manner and most important for a dentist, agile fingers which allow a difficult job to be done with the least discomfit. I took my mother of 80 years to him
recently to solve her teeth problems and can only admire his professionalism. My husband, 2 boys and myself have experienced a wide range of dental care from Dr Baker and because of his proactive approach have few fillings and healthy teeth.

Dr Baker is the best dentist I have encountered, he has cared for my husband, myself and our daughter over the past few years, and we would never consider going anywhere else. His manner is kindly, professional and gentle, his staff are friendly and helpful, and he runs to a tight schedule - you are never kept waiting. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone. While I wont go so far as to say I 'enjoy' going to see him, if there were anyone to make you change your mind about dentists visits - Dr Baker would be your man. His follow up care is exceptional too - I had to call him at home about a problem I was experiencing after a recent extraction (nothing wrong with the surgery he performed, just a dry socket developed) and he wasnt at all fazed by being disturbed on the weekend by a patient. 10 out of 10!

I've been going to Dr Baker for about 15 years, ever since being recommended, during which time he has done cavities, root and general cleaning. He has certificates for latest training and hygiene, has a 10 minute cleaning routine prior to each next client, his equipment ha always been the latest, he obviously knows it well being one of those enthusiastic and rather pedantic people - exactly as you'd wish for your dentist.

Is his work good? I don't know, I'm not qualified to say, but at age 58 I still have all my teeth and in better condition than when I first went to him. I suspect he is above average, and his high attention to detail and cleanliness are important to me.

His number one outstanding quality is punctuality. He is on time to the minute, apologising profusely on the rare occasion that he is maybe 2-3 minutes late. That's also why you get a call if not there 10 minutes ahead of time, and why he politely but firmly reinforces that should you be even a few seconds late. Dr Baker runs on time - no ifs, no buts.

If there were one reason to choose this dentist over any other, it would be that he respects your time as ,much as his own.

We went to Nicholas because of the recommendation l saw here on Word of Month. My daughter (9) Was very scared of dentists and had many bad experiences. But she loves these guys. She got upset when she thought I was looking for a new dentist. l can't explain why but they do have a nack for putting kids at ease. I've been able to change appointments at last minute without recieving attitude or a 'fine' which some dentist do. They fit her in on an emergency because one of her teeth felt too high and was irritating her. I can always get afternoon appointments to fit around school times. They let me sit with her and hold her hand etc.

Not a fancy,expensive consulting room,but all the latest up-to-date equipment. Dr Baker and the receptionists and the dental nurses all put me, and my teenage son, who was rather apprehensive,completely at ease.I received a phone call to confirm the appointments each time on the day before. Time is taken to explain everything to you,and you are not made to feel guilty or neglectful over anything you have/haven't done.
