Let me start by saying that if you engage the Coochie Hydrogreen you will be serviced by a local franchise owner. As long as the local franchise owner is good, you should be ok. There are still some issues even with a good franchise owner.

The most important thing is that they guarantee that the spray will work because it is "customised" using their years of expertise in the business. However, the reality is they seem to have used the same spray for every one of their clients, irrespective of whether there are a lot of different weeds or if the condition of the weeds is very serious infestation between clients. As they do guarantee their treatment, they will come out to "respray" and supposed to come out again at no extra charge since the original spray was not working. The treatment is supposed to be done every 2 months and so in between, if the weeds are not sprayed with the right strength or correct concoction of chemicals, the weeds will continue to be visible. This was the case for my lawns as there were 3 kinds of weed including clover and some kind of weed grass were always present even 3 weeks immediately after each spray.

So the franchisee came out to respray for no charge and usually one extra time between paid treatments every 2 months.

After consistent feedback about the ineffectiveness of the spraying ( from memory this was over a period from mid 2020 to 3rd quarter of 2022), a specialist from Queensland came to visit with the franchisee to inspect our lawn in November 2022. He said to me that the strength and the concoction of the was not good enough for our condition. Whilst this was not a big surprise, it was disappointing as we have spent good money for our lawns to be cleared of weeds and with over 2 years of using this service to find out what we had suspected, that the spray was not effective, was not a good thing. Anyway, happy that they admitted the problem and now hoped that they would use something more appropriate for us.

The sad part is we were charged for an extra spray in December 2022 that should not have been chargeable and then the service disappeared with no responses to calls or SMSs.

Coochie Hydrogreen still exists in the Perth Metro Area and seems that they do exist in Australia but emails to the website, to head office just got use no response for a few months until finally a message saying that they were having some issue and they will sort it out soon. That was in March or April 2023. Did get a call from their head office saying that they were going to have a solution probably in April or May but it is now September 2023 without any progress. So I have lost all faith in this company from their handling of the situation plus the ineffective spray that they had used on my lawns over close to 3 years.

Whilst we can understand that there may be disagreements with the franchisee and the company, for the company/head office to not back up their own service to the paying customer and not worry about their reputation, it is not a good situation.
