Yum! We used to like the Thai restaurant up the road in Edithvale, but this place is fantastic. The decor is quite old and very basic, but the food is excellent. We love the peanut sauce dishes. We've had the banquets (1 and 2) and really love the variety and the amount is more than enough. Service has always been great as well.

After my wife's company had their Christmas party here, I wanted to try the food as well. She loved it and really hyped it up. However, we went here for my birthday just a month later and unfortunately wasn't that impressed. Yes, the food was quite good, but we felt the service was lacking. We were the only people in there and felt somewhat thrown to the side because we were not in the main dining room. It was good, but not as good as what i was expecting.
Approximate cost: $26
We often go here in the middle of the summer. There's nothing better than a cold beer on a hot day in a beer garden! Being from Europe, this is a great place for me to feel back at home. Just wish the beer prices were the same as in Switzerland or Germany! ie, much cheaper! On a cold day, try their mussels in the restaurant.

Namaskaar was recommended to us by Max and Jenny at Old Dadswell Town up the road. We do love our Indian, but were apprehensive about Indian in the middle of nowhere! We were happy to find quite authentic Indian food. It was a bit pricey, but good nonetheless. I like spicy and they did a good job with that.

We had a fantastic time with Jenny and Max at their very interesting "hotel". It was my wife's birthday and she wanted to visit the grampians so I found Old Dadswell Town to stay at. The first night we were the only ones there. The second night there was a fairly large friends group. The cabins were very clean, and the grounds were very fun to look at. The double dunny with politicians on the top and the plebs on the bottom was great! There's so much to like about this place!
We were staying at the Twofold Bay Motor Inn and didn't want to go far for lunch. The staff suggested going to this restaurant as they had a good lunch deal and was literally right next to the motel. The woman who took our order was very friendly, and the food was quite good considering it was takeaway. We ate there twice in the time we were in Eden.

We often went to Joe's when we didn't feel like cooking. We lived just down the block so it was easy to get to. The prices are reasonable, and the pizzas are fairly good. We have had their pastas from time to time, and they're usually pretty good. The owners are originally from Italy, and the interior of the restaurant has a very Italian feel to it.
When my wife and I visited Australia before moving permanently we took a trip to Phillip Island to see the Penguin Parade. On the way there we stopped at this wildlife sanctuary which was a quick and easy way to see the main animals in Australia including koala, kangaroos, wombats, emus, etc. In 2009 we took overseas visitors here, again on the way to the penguins. We had just learned they had had a huge fire, but thankfully the animals were ok. It's a great place to see native animals outside Healesville. They also have a mini-golf course but we haven't been there.
We were looking for an electrician to help install two ceiling fans on our deck. We decided to look at the Gray Army and found his name. We found him to be professional, thorough and friendly. We'll definitely call him if needed again.
This review is difficult because of the extremes. There was only 1 server on a Friday night. We had a party of 6 adults and there were several other parties of 2 - 4. We were seated near the kitchen and every 5 minutes or so we got accosted by cigarette smoke--obviously from the kitchen staff. At least when we got the food, it was quite good, particularly the oyters kilpatrick. It was unfortunate that the cigarette smoke ruined much of the meal.
