The best place for fish and chips that I have tried. The staff are friendly and service is quick. Very popular and can be busy. Call ahead with your order if you are in a rush.
Fantastic service from friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of plants including large range of natives. Gorgeous setting outside and I always end up leaving with something. Inside the store they have a nice range of gifts, tools, seeds and other garden essentials. One of my favourite places on Semaphore Rd.
Cibo is a great chain of cafes without feeling like a chain. You get the good aspects of it being a franchise like knowing that the great food and coffee will be consistent across the sites and the clean modern look but the service is fantastic and friendly. The Rundle Street store has seating upstairs and downstairs as well as out on the street. Take away is also available. Make sure you try the Italian Hot Chocolate which is like pudding - just delicious. Everything is fantastic but the ACE (orange, lemon and carrot) gelati is another favourite.
Reliable restaurant for quick, fresh noodle and stir fry dishes. Can ring and order to either take away or have food ready to serve when you arrive. Employees from surrounding businesses regularly go for lunch as they know they will get serves quickly and enjoy their meal. Prices are good, particularly at lunch.
I love these pizzas - flavour is amazing and toppings are always great. The garlic bread is also fantastic. This is not your usual pizza place. Favourite toppings include roasted vegetables and margharita. My meat eating friends always rave about the roast chicken. The Glenelg restaurant seats many and it's lovely sitting out on the balcony. Overall service is good however there are one or two waiters that should probably look for a job outside of the service industry. Don't let that stop you though from trying this great food.
British India is a nice restaurant with huge servings in a really gorgeous interior. The Thali Room (part of the restaurant but only serves Thalis) however is fantastic. Excellent value for money and fantastic food. one vegetarian option and two seafood along with the usual meat choices. A Thali is a platter for one with your choice of curry along with other set items including naan bread, chutney, rice, dahl and either chickpea salad or a piece of chicken tikka. Again the Thali Room has a fantastic interior. Good place to impress a date.
Large range of fair trade and sustainable products - gifts, soaps, stationary, clothes etc. Staff are really lovely and helpful. Free gift wrapping. Favourite purchases include elephant dung gift cards and bsirius handbags.
Really beautiful store. Gorgeous range of Japanese ceramics, bento boxes, fans, toys etc. Also stocks beautiful jewellery by Australian designers. Great place for gifts or something special for yourself. The free gift wrapping is always exquisite (doesn't matter how much you spend they always do a great job). Good value for money.
Beautiful shop with great range of fiction and non-fiction. Good collection of design, architecture and fashion titles. Great place to buy more interesting children's books. Lovely staff. Not your mainstream bookshop.
Large range of fantastic gelati flavours. Ask for a taste and try something new. Good value for money servings. Can sit inside or out or take away. Located near the cinema so a nice treat on the walk back to the bus or car.
