I love to go to Dutchies whenever I am on the Island. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are great. Then it comes to the food... Stonegrill is their specialty as the name suggests, and the quality cannot be overstated. Portions are modest, so on my last visit two portions were indulged in!

I worked up the road from Malaymas for about three years, and we went there two or three times a week. Always well looked after by Jim and his team, the menu is superb with delicious noodles being my favourite!

You can't go past Lamb's for a souvlaki - try the double meat if you are game! I've been going back for years, the food is fresh and your souvlaki's put together right in front of you. Unbeatable after a late night!

Tai Pan's in my top three Chinese restaurants outside of Chinatown! I like to go off-peak, when it's not so busy. Classy surroundings and a superb menu with all the trimmings. The service is excellent, and they do take-away as well! Prices are not over the top - I've paid more elsewhere!

Magic Garden carries a huge range of roses, it's an ideal place to find a Mothers Day gift! The staff really know their stuff, and there are aisles of pots so you can either ask or walk around and choose your own. I've been back there time and again!

Enlightened does eat-in or take-away. The restaurant is clean and has a lovely ambiance. There is a good choice of food, I am particularly fond of their soups which are delicious and plentiful servings too!

Wattleseed Cafe is decorated with an Australian theme which flows through to their menu, making use of traditional herbs and seeds to produce delightful sauces and seasonings to enhance the meal. The staff provide excellent service. The food is superbly prepared and presented. Highly recommended!

We have been going back to Alfred's Homestead for years! The traditional smorgasbord has everything from hot soup to roasts, with all the trimmings, and the cold bar has an extensive range of seafood, small tasty things, and salads. The food is great and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Love it!

We keep going back to Lilydale Palace for their great food and service! Whether eat-in or take away, the food is always fresh and well prepared, and I am happy to recommend it to friends and family.
