I have had the unpleasant experience of dealing with G.S.S all 3 times I was the plaintiff, all 3 times the defendant was treated with more respect than I was, even though I was paying the Legal Fees, yes that’s correct, I was paying their wages.
Someone once asked me “What would it take to get out of you why you would never recommend this Legal Firm?’
My reply, “About an hour and a half, with a ball point pen”

Was really disappointed with this business, engaged them for a fence and retaining wall matter needing professional advice, They concurred that QCAT would be the best action that commonsense and these people are adverse in such matters would see the matter to our favour for the fence and retaining wall, water pipe matter. Well went to QCAT today, was informed by them that the letter the solicitor wrote was incorrect according to the judge, also added retaining walls & water pipes were not in their jurisdiction only fence matters were all the forms allowed for and then promptly awarded the Respondent his request. This exercise was a complete waste of money, was quite stressful including our dealing with this business and now we have to appeal to a Magistrates Court to get the complaint heard which will out weight the cost of another solicitor, so a bully gets off scott free (our neighbour), the QCAT said we had not been given good advice from our Solicitor and we were completely shattered, I had to take a day off work as well. We will represent ourselves in future & after this awful experience will not see another solicitor again, The price quoted was different,so I agree with boat boy, form your own opinion and do your homework first.
