Bottoms Up Burlesque is a great dance school. It is welcoming, friendly and most importantly empowering.
I have done mostly pole classes but also a couple of burleque and have always had enormous amounts of fun.
whether you are a begginer or advanced they can provide you with a challenge. Give it a go...I dare you

I did their pole and booty classes for a few terms. Very attentive and welcoming tutors.

I rarely exercise and had no dance background, so I was probably the worst in my class. The tutors encourage and make me feel at ease instead of shaming me like some other places. The price seems high but it's really worth it.

Approximate cost: $230

I've been at Bottom's Up doing Pole classes for over a year now. Wonderful teachers who are very understanding (I came from a no dance background), great tips for building up strength and positive attitudes all round. I always feel welcome and can always ask for tips.
Classes don't build up to a routine at the end like Pole Princess, but you will do choreography in the last class of each term which is good fun.

tried their booty classes, classes were fun and not too demanding (especially for someone who has no dancing experience whatsoever) price was a bit high but the studio was great and decent facilities as well

price was a bit pricey but definitely worth the value if you go to all your classes

it's a bit dodge trying to find the place though, it's hidden in this factory-esque building (which i guess makes it look all the more indie and hiddem gemish) but don't worry it's easy to get to in terms of public transport, and there's enough parking as well

Great place to try something different if you enjoy dancing! Classes are non-threatening and welcoming. I tried back to the 80s dance class with Ally and had a great time. Their prices are very reasonable and there are lots of classes to choose from. Friendly teachers and manageable routines and instruction. I will definitely be back! Try a casual class - there are a few going. I love that you can just drop in whenever it suits you for a casual class as I have a schedule that changes frequently so regular times are not always good for me. Not to difficult to find the school and teachers and students alike are friendly. I'll be coming here more often in future :)

Approximate cost: $10-20

Finally, a 5 star review on a dance school. I have 2 left feet and have been thinking of joining dance classes for ages but never found the courage nor the right school to go to. Your review has definitely helped ...
