Our favourite pub by a long way. They are kid-friendly, with a good selection of kid's meals & paper on the tables & crayons for drawing. They open their kitchen nice & early at 5.00 & they serve meals in a timely fashion, so you can be in & out with kids, draw while you wait, & eat good food for a very reasonable price. They offer a selection of 'pub' meals at a very cheap price & always offer tasty specials & change their menu regularly so you don't get bored. The staff are always so friendly & welcoming & nice to the kids. Nice atmosphere too, not a smelly old grungy pub, & in Winter they have a couple of open fire places going (with safety guards of course), which make it extra cosy.

I have always had great meals at Fidama & I love the intimate cosy candle lit atmosphere. Always interesting & unusual items to choose from on the menu & nice wines on offer. I would not call it kid-friendly at all though.

Best fish & chips in Newport - even the whole western suburbs! Fresh fish & seafood & really good batter. Not too heavy & greasy.

A great local Italian restaurant in Yarraville. Always excellent & very tasty pasta & meals. A great place to grab a meal before the movies at The Sun, they are very obliging for a speedy meal. Great value & quick service.

I cannot speak of these people highly enough! I have been a regular client for many years now & I return because the treatment is effective. They use herbs, acupuncture, massage & other Traditional Chinese methods & treat you as an individual with great care & knowledge. Very experienced & professional, while also being very kind & supportive. I would not go anywhere else for alternative health treatment.

A very handy & well stocked baby & kid's store. Excellent place to pick up baby related needs & gifts for babies & young children. They also have a second hand section for baby goods & clothes which is always worth a browse. They offer a rewards card system where you earn a percentage discount after a certain amount of visits. Very easy to find & park & friendly helpful staff.

This is a little children's boutique in the Yarraville Village. They stock really cute & unusual pieces such as kid's clothing & toys. Great spot to find a baby, toddler or pre-schooler birthday present, & they also have a few bits & pieces for early school aged kids. They have great sales a few times a year & the owners are always friendly & approachable, but also leave you plenty of time & space to browse without pressure.

Spotswood Health Group are a well established health care provider, offering services such as chiropractic, psychotherapy, massage, shiatsu, TCM, naturopathy & others as well. Always friendly, caring & welcoming from the receptionists to the individual practitioner. I have used their services now for over 10 years & have always found them to be consistent & effective practitioners & I have always felt comfortable there.
