Good service, but overpriced, charged me nearly $300 for a job that took 40 minutes or less to do! I wish I was a plumber rather that wasting my time in the uni. Due to the service call whatever price they ask for will usually be accepted. Try to find someone who is more clear with their pricing. Unfortunately this is the case for most of the tradies as they are dealing with things that you have no idea about and they come up with extra costs and services that must be done. If you do not care about your money, go for them!

Had these Guy,s out Twice , 1st time Good service, friendly , happy, reliable & on time , & at a reasonable price. 2nd time no good , some 18 mnth,s later I rang to get job done, Due to previous happy service. However wasn,t to be , (VERY DISSAPOINTED) Web site stated arrive on time ! Nope after waiting 40 mins & no courtesy call , I had to ring . When they did finally arrive Quoted on job & were more interested in selling add ons. Small water pipe repaired & block drain cleared , Exorbitant price charged & suggested further work suggestions.

Chose them, as a quick google search promised $50 off today on plumbing services carried out and they pride themselves on their website to have affordable prices (more on that later). Called them, they explained that I need to fill out an online form to claim the $50 (no such thing on their site by the way). They went on to explain that there'll be $39 for call out, but will be waived when I let the plumber carry out the work (should have been a warning sign). Tenant told me there was a big water leak in the front of the house. I thought it must have been a burst pipe. A staff showed up at my ROWVILLE (VIC 3178) property and quoted $285 (twohundred eightyfive) for a 20min job, $20 tap.. but callout fee of $39 will not be charged,.. cheers. I was at work and couldn't hear them properly when they called about something broken, so I just said ok, go ahead, seemed reasonable if it was a pipe. I mean wow... even at an expensive call out fee of $80+$20, +20min labour, it shouldn't exceed $150, but wow... $285. They were quickly to offer me a free quotation after the tap fix, stating that your friendly plumber will also offer free plumbing quotation on the remaining property, thought why not, and sure enough, called back to advise that my water heater had carbon monoxide emission and needs to be replaced for ~$2500 urgently. I remembered that I replaced a water unit at my Doncaster Property about a year ago for $1500+ only, but wasn't sure if it was the same size, so I asked if they could leave the quotation there with my tenant for me to have a look. Well, after inspecting and calling a few people, IT IS THE SAME SIZE but with and almost $1000 premium attached to it, no wonder then that they called me couple of times the very next day to follow up with booking an appointment, never had that before with any trades person. I questioned them about the tap fix and curiously asked if it was at least a titanium brass for that price. Their reply: It doesn't need to be titanium. HAH! But I would have preferred one for almost $300. None of my properties will ever be serviced by yourfriendlyplumber ever again, and neither will my investor colleagues support them after sharing that with them. Have left a voicemail, as I find that the Australian public needs to be protected to some extend. Will report back if I get a reply, and I will consider to take this further. Highly recommend!! I had 2 plumbers from your friendly plumber come out to my property today to replace my hot water service and service a couple of taps, after making the call earlier this morning they arrived at my house within the time given, they gave me a fixed price and replaced my hot water service on the spot, I was more than happy with the service provided, they were cheaper than the other 2 quotes I got off pervious plumbers and very we'll mannered! Would use any day, thank you very much

I must say, this plumber is really responsive, but why wouldn't they be? My partner called them today to fix a toilet cistern washer and they walked away with a cool $1,222! Not bad work for such a small job. They must be giggling all the way to the bank.

As new homeowners we didn't have a clue who to call when our yard started flooding. After reading these reviews I called, I was not disappointed RIchie and Ty were prompt and reliable- nothing was too much trouble, they kept us informed throughout the process and fixed the problem(tree roots) at a competive price. We have since had Ty come back out for unrelated problems, he fixed everything on the spot. I cannot recommend these guys enough, if you need a plumber give them a call, you won't be disappointed.
