3 years of agony dealing with this company. After replacing my exhaust the golf continuously went into limp mode. They couldn’t work out what the problem was ( in three years! ).
Frank the service manager eventually told me I had bought the wrong car. I don’t know why they didn’t tell me this when I purchased it from them.
I took my 3 month old VW to South Yarra VW Commercial centre (their Richmond branch) with an electrical issue. They took multiple visits to diagnose the issue then said it was my fault (water in the trailer plug, not the visible one but the hidden badly sealed second connector) and wanted to charge me $1200 to fix it. They would not listen to what I wanted (ie the underlying flawed issue fixed) and just wanted to charge me to replace the failed parts with the same flawed system that was just going to fail the same way. I got the whole thing permanently fixed the way I wanted it fixed elsewhere for 10% of the price. I wont be going back to them, for anything.
Approximate cost: $1200
Brought my vehicle in for repair. Was able to get a ride during the interim. Vehicle was finished in the time estimated. Very courteous staff and pleasurable experience.
Extremely professional service centre, they always have a hire car available at no extra charge, they are honest and do a great job i would highly recommend them to anyone
