We really enjoyed our visit here for dinner this week. Service was excellent; very attentive. I was thrilled to have a couple of vegie options and hubby was very happy with his butter chicken. Not too busy, but pleasing decor. Toilets needed improvement.

WARNING: Purchased a voucher and made booking. Arrived on the night to find the restaurant unattended and in disrepair. An official looking notice was on the front door but as the patio gate was padlocked we were unable to read it. Absolutely disgusted that no-one had the decency to phone us about the situation.

Had takeaway recently, nice food although more sauce than meat, good service, no EFTPOS facilities, not bad.

Beware, the Veena is not the Veena any more. they are under new management, and now one of my favourite restaurants is poorly run with food that i wouldn't be happy serving at home.

Firstly, we tried to order from the online menu, only to be told that they didn't make most of the dishes anymore. we were told to drive down to choose from the menu for our takeaway. the food wouild only be a 10 minute wait. so prepared for a drive and a longer than needed wait, we trekked down only to be told that the wait was 25 minutes, in a tiny corridor with no magazines or other diversions. my favourite dishes were unavailable, so i ordered second faves, malagu beef and instead of a beef rendang was offered a chicken rendang. so i thought i woudl try that. oh yes, and there were no eftpos facilities. cash only. after the long wait and then getting home, was very hungry and looking forward to the meals. The chicken dish was not rendang, was best described as stir-fried chicken breast in a kind of vindaloo sauce. the melagu beef, a specialty, was visually different, and tasted nothing like the rich deep flavours that i had come to expect. These people do not know what they are doing, and the food - you might as well cook for yourself and save the drive.

I went there with my work colleagues. Very homely atmosphere and the price was okay, but I felt that the serving size was a bit small compare to the price.

This is a great Indian restaurant with great food and friendly staff. The prices are average but the taste and quality of the food is above average! It is a nice quiet restaurant which probably needs a new coat of paint but makes up for it in all other ways :)
