Ordered, verandah and deck on the 29th of May, quoted approximately 7 days construction time. Delivery of verandah kit was on the 21st of October, job was not completed until the 22nd of November.
Stephen only worked half days. Didn't turn up on-site a few times without contact. If you questioned any of his work he would not react professionally. Stephen dug the holes for the footings and broke our storm water pipe in multiple locations, which we were charged extra to have repaired. The deck has inconsistent spacing between boards and poor joins in places. Only single centre screws placed in fascia boards. The deck has grass growing through the boards as no weed mat was laid or suggested that we lay some under the deck. Verandah was OK except for skylight in roof which had a large buckle in it.
Approximate cost: $15000
We bought a verandah from this company and had installed as well, The guy who quoted the job was the guy who built it. he was very professional and was cheaper than the other 4 quotes we got.

As you know working in IT, negative reviews can have a lasting effect.
I am a sole trader and a one man operation, and cannot be held responsible for the delay in the building permit which occurred on your job.
Nor can I be held responsible for your storm water pipe which was four metres out from what showed on your plan.
The delay in construction was due the me being "extremely" unwell for more than a week which you had no problem with at the time.
Emailing me 20 minutes after I left regarding the joins in the deck prior to them being nailed down was hardly fair and was explained over the email.
The decking tolerances are within the allowable limits and if there was an issue I would have been happy to rectify any, had you contacted me.
When you contacted the manufacturer of the polycarbonate they explained to you that it is built with a curve to allow water to run off as did i.
I believe that when I confronted you about placing a webcam in the window to record me and broadcasting my image over the internet you probably got upset but i think my request was more than fair.
Im sorry you had a bad experience, as I take any reviews to heart.
