1 review about The State Library Of SA

Our state library is a wonderful source of reference materials. There is a cricket exhibition which is quite famous there. However the section I visit is the family history area in the Spence wing on level 1. There is an amazing amount of information available about early South Australian settlers. The records on the ships and the passengers are photo copies of the originals which are most interesting. Also books of births deaths and marriages during the early years. Well worth visiting if you are interested in family background. Also the staff are most willing to help direct you to the right areas for your research.
