The first thing I noticed when we walked in was the nice decor and unique chairs. Really nice place for dinner as it is in city and was easy for all of us to get there. I had marinated chicken skewer when I was there and it was really nice. juicy and yummy sauce. Definitely quality food and drinks. Our waiter was very friendly and did a great job. The harbour view after the sunset was nice too.

Approximate cost: $50

Great quality food with a fantastic view of the harbour. I came here for my partner's birthday and we both had steak. No complaints about that, delicious and juicy. The salad was a little expensive as it is very plain. As for customer service, because the restaurant is two levels sometimes there aren't as many staff on the top floor. The price is what you'd expect for a decent steak restaurant, average $40-$50. It's a shame you have to pay for sauce though.

OMG! I can see why they are expensive, it was well worth the money, bout 35 starting for steak. I had calamari for entree and my partner the pork belly, it was devine, especially the pork belly. We both had steaks which absolutely melted in your mouth. We had desert 3 types of ice cream! Yum and I dont even eat ice cream! The service was a standout! It is very expensive though, all up we paid $170 for 2 entrees, 2 mains, 1 dessert and 2 wines But its lovely inside and who cant love Darling Harbour! Get avoucher for Xmas off you family, thats how I could justify it to myself lol!

Approximate cost: $30 ish

After having a great time at M&W Co in Melbourne, my friend and I decided that the next time we're in Sydney, we have to visit the Meat & Wine Co.

Booked two weeks in advance and Saturday was all booked out (Over the Queen's Birthday long weekend) so we booked a table for 6pm for the Sunday. It's important to note that on Sunday, there's an additional $5 surcharge per person, which I was advised about when I made the booking.

When we arrived, it was much less crowded than the last time I went in Melbourne. We started off with the Salt & Pepper Calamari with gremolata sauce to share. I felt that the calarmari wasn't as crispy as when I had it in Melbourne and the gremolata didn't have that zingy punch.

For my main I ordered the Rump steak with chat potatoes and mushroom sauce. The rump was cooked how I like it, medium to well. The chat potatoes were tasty, but it was nothing special. They did forget my mushroom sauce though, so I had to ask for that again. When we were done, it took awhile for them to notice us again because we wanted the bill, but overall, great experience. Would definitely recommend going with a group. Book well in advance though!

Approximate cost: $28

We choose to eat here during our short stay in Sydney on our first night and was truly blown away by the service and the food! I am not a huge meat eater but the menu still looked appetizing. Ended up ordering the butcher's skewer which arrived grandly and accompanied with a huge helping of chips. So delicious and definitely worth what we paid. Highly recommend this place.

This is the best one in Australia. Great location, really comfy chairs (this matters), open all day, great, and I mean great food and great service. The meat - any meat - is cooked perfectly and the chips are delish.
Can't wait to go back.

The name says it all — steak and wine! And they do both pretty well. The steaks are delicious, good cuts of meat cooked well, and a good range of local and imported wines. If you're not afraid of raw beef, try the beef carpaccio which is delicious, and try the vodka & blue cheese sauce with your steak. It's not a cheap night out, but you get what you pay for.

Approximate cost: $40
