Disgusting Bacon. My partner and I went to this Coffee Club in Aspley last Sunday. I ordered scramble egg, bacon and toast. The scramble egg was ok, but the bacon was dirty, full of black specks of burnt crusts from the hot plate. I complaint to the duty manager, he did not apologise. He said he will replace the bacon. When the new bacon arrived, it was again full of dirty, black specks. I told him I cannot eat it. He did not apologise. He only offer us a free cheese cake. I am not going back this restaurant again. I taken a pix of the bacon and I would like to post it here but I do not know how.

I had lunch at the the Coffee Club at Aspley today and the service was excellent we were certainly well looked after. The food was amazing and they were able to provide gluten free bread for my sandwich. Very pleased.

Friend and i had lunch here last Thursday. Well the quality of what we chose was rather disappointing. Cost of salads and meals are overpriced in my opinion and yes i realise they have rent and staff and bills to pay but that shouldn't lower standards. The cost of a caesar salad was almost $20 and you had to pay extra for egg. She ended up,ordering the chicken schnitzel and salad. I ordered the fish n chips n salad as we were hungry and remembered the size of the plates from past visits. Well the guy that served us has been there for years and is lovely. Very helpful, and truthful bit of a wag as well which makes diners feel, comfortable. Well along came the meals after our meals after we got our drinks, really i expect a cafe with a bar to actually make a lemon lime and bitters from scratch! Not from a bottle. Every time i go here there is no one that can make it or they have no lime cordial! Really? That coles across the rd hasn't any in stock?
Must say we were both disappointed with the size and quality of the meals. Her schnitzel looked microwaved and flat and very brown crumbs on it.looked more like a piece of rubber.can understand why she didn't finish it. My fish was 3 small finger shaped pieces and a handful of chips which were ok.the plate was a rectangle shape no bigger than a dinner party entreè plate .The salad on both plates left us wondering if they knew what a salad was! It consisted of a less than palm size leaf of iceberg lettuce, a few strips of rockets, a sprinkling of shredded carrot. No onion no tomato no cucumber! Come on guys up,your game with a decent side salad! The vinaigrette dressing was very oily and sat under the salad ,neither of us tasted it till we hit the bottom of the plate. We did mention how our meals were and the guy gave us a shop,a docket for one meal free. That was very much appreciated. Wont be making another visit in near or distant future. Cost outweighs the size. The place is clean and tidy though, staff are nice . Plenty of tables, parking can be a bit packed and you have to park next door in maccas

My daughter & I had breakfast first thing Monday morning (while car being serviced) - 7.30am - store had been opened for a while - service was not great, wait time on food was lengthy considering less than 6 customers - food was ok (Canadian Breakfast Special $15.00) but not great - coffee was good - don't think I'd go there again if I was after an early breakfast experience. Sorry, guys - not great.

Approximate cost: $15.00

Recently had lunch here with my family. The staff were friendly, wanting to know how you are going. The food was good, they did muck up one order but only slightly so we didn't complain (I will just have to be clearer next time).

Great food here! Staff are super friendly although can be a tad annoying when the come and interrupt to ask how your meal is going although I feel like they are told they have to. Coffee is usually quite nice and there is a nice selection of cake to accompany your drink. The meals are quite pricey but usually get alot of bang for your buck, haven't been disappointed with any of my meals yet and I come here regularly. Nice place to chill out and catch up with old friends.

This is a great Coffee Club. The food is always up to par and the staff are always friendly. Ben, in particular, is a credit to the business as he's sociable, welcoming and always ready with a smile and a chat.

Parking can be a problem sometimes but only because the restaurant is usually so busy. Coffee is good, you can sit inside or outside and there is a range of seating options.

Of all the Coffee Club's I've been to, Aspley Coffee Club is definately the best. Great service great food. Great experience.
