The Carrington Hotel is a beautiful place with a great vibe and great service. It is nice to come here for drinks on the weekend.

the most beautiful building in katoomba. the mountains would be the same without it. right in the middle of town, they put on lots of events. go in and play pool or have a drink at the bar.

My Cousin had her wedding function here and the garden's were an apsolute gorgeous background for their wedding photo's,the guest where all put up here and the rooms where something we will never foget,an beautiful old but refurbished hotel,that anyone in Katoomba should adleast visit.

A few weeks back work held their Christmas lunch at the Carrington. Such a beautiful old hotel with a lot of charm and character.
We were given the library to use for the work function, which was decorated with christmas decorations and christmas music playing. It was such a lovely atmosphere. Included in the 2 course lunch was a welcome drink at the bar which was located under an amazing glass dome. Unfortunately though heavy rains started and the roof/dome near the bar started to leak. It didn't take anything away from the hotel, it actually added to the charm! There was a fire burning in one of the lounges which with the weather outside, was just lovely. After the nice christmas lunch and party, I am planning to go back to the Carrington to experience their High Tea. Such a beautiful old hotel!! Recommend to anyone

I organised a conference for a group of professional image consultants at The Carrington. It was fabulous! So good in fact that I am currently organising another one. The accommodation is beautiful; staff helpful; facilities excellent and the food incredible. Our weekend stay was perfect and I would recommend this venue for anyone who wants to impress and treat employees or clients to a wonderful get-away-from-it-all break.

i took my mrs there for a nice getaway we loved it..the rooms were soo elegantly made and the food was amazing we enjoyed the beautiful grounds around the historical hotel and loved every minute we were there..the ballrooms were soo marvellous and we were in awe of everything we seen the staff were very attentive and proffesional, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the bed was amazingly comforatble i didnt want to get out ..but we had to go see the sights of latoomba as they were at our fingertips..everyone should go stay at the carrington

This hotel is a splendour soo elegant and well presented its a historical piece of Katoomba..its architecture is original and it boasts beautiful foyers and ballrooms ..the rooms are divine to stay in soo luxurious and well kept...the service of the staff is 5star they tailor to your every need and fulfil any requests you may have..i have stayed at the carrington for a weekend away..it was a romantic getaway and it was sooo relaxing lovely and memorable..the beds were soo comfy the linen was freshly pressed and smelt divine, the towels were the softest ive eve felt in a hotel that ive stayed at.. and the food was cooked to perfection ..it was truly an unforgettable stay that i never wanted to end. It features fine dining options, a nightclub and the relaxing Renaissance Day Spa.Rooms at The Carrington hotel have classic ambience and décor. They all include cable TV, tea and coffe- making facilities. Some rooms offer city views or open out onto a balcony; others are equipped with a spa bath.Old City Bank Bar & Brasserie offers informal dining with wood-fire pizza and gourmet burgers. Champagne Charlie's serves cocktails and other drinks. The grand dining room is open for high tea on Sundays and dinner at weekends.

My wife and I went there for lunch during the week and really enjoyed it. This old hotel is beautiful and a great place to relax over lunch. Food is reasonably priced and the service is friendly. Would recommend.

I've been to the Carrington Hotel on many occassions and it's never disappointing. The Old City Bank Bar serves excellent meals - you've got to try their Kangaroo burger! I also love their day spa as well as the rooms are very classy and comfortable.
