I stayed here for one night recently for a special anniversary get-a-way with my husband. The room was pleasant, nicely decorated & clean. We had a lovely city view. We had a complimentary breakfast (we had a package deal). Lots of choice, full English breakfast, Continental, pancakes, fruit, cereal, fresh tea/coffee. Would definitely recommend & stay again!

Hotel is old looking on the inside, only real modern thing was the outdoor heated pool and spa. Great location also. One big concern i had was i paid extra for a ocean view room only to have a massive pain tree blocking my view, hotel was fully booked so i couldnt get a different room. Breakfast buffet ordianry. Rooms small and bathrooms very dated. OVerall ok if you dont mind cheap.

Breakfast experience was a great success even with a large group. The restaurant appeared to be constantly full with people coming and going all the time. The choices were interesting, plentiful and were replenished regularly so you didn't need to wait. The only thing you did have to wait for were the eggs which were cooked to your order (and well worth the short wait). The service at the table was faultless with constant tea and coffee supplied. Would certainly have breakfast there again.

We came here for a wedding reception recently. The setting was beautiful, i was very disappointed in the food though it was served warm not hot. The Asian salad had processed chicken instead of real chicken breast. The main meal included a veggie stack that was like rubber and the flavours did not go. I wasn't impressed with the staff either a lot of the staff didn't speak great English, they all looked miserable. Whatever happened to service with a smile!?
It was a nice day overall the setting was beautiful but it did feel a bit like it was quantity over quality with 5 wedding on that day.

A great place to go on a sat. nite with friends, but the bouncers are rude, the bar staff are snobby, and the drinks are far too expensive. If it wasnt for my freinds and the great music, I'm not sure I'd bother.

This is a great place to go on a hot summer's night for a drink and dancing. It also does functions particularly well. I went to a high tea here and the food and service was fantastic.

A must do in Glenelg due to the high quality restaurant which is open for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet is extensive and caters to all tastes, decor is neutral and not overbearing, and the service is excellent, what should be expected from a 5 star venue

Approximate cost: $40

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. It was luxurious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Packages are available for honeymoon stays. We only stayed one night because we had to fly out in the morning. We had breakfast outside on the balcony which was superb. Our wedding package also included a bottle of champagne, chocolates and a lovely box for my wedding dress.
