Love this place its so huge! Situated in the shopping area near anaconda and harvey norman. I get lost in here and spend hours looking for craft bargains. Im a vip member and received a voucher for $40 off a new sewing machine. So went to see what was available. Found a great one on sale and i could also use my voucher with it .when i got to the register my bargain was even better. $199 machine for $99 score! Love browsing for craft supplies. My partner gets irritated waiting for over an hour for me so he goes and cleans the car or something lol. Aisles are wide, pram room. Things are fairly easy to find. Staff are always about to help. Only thing is I'm always in a long queue. So the wait to get material cut is always long about ten min or more. Checkouts are usually quicker. Sometimes there is a sausage sizzle out front on saturdays. I keep going back time and time again. Usually find what I'm looking for. Plenty of parking

I always find a bargain when I hit up this store. The layout is quite easy to navigate & they have alot of stock (yay)!!
The staff are a little difficult to find at times but they're always around in the fabric department.
Definitely worth a look when they have big sales such as 30% off storewide which not long was on :) :)

I love spotlight, it is a great store. The staff are friendly and they regularly send a voucher for birthdays and other sale specials. It has good parking and mum's with pram spots. The only down side is that they don't have many stretch cotton fabrics that aren't plain.

Was surprised by the range and price of fabrics at this store, and grateful for how easy it was to find the products I was after.

I purchase a lot of craft products and fabric from spotlight. They have a great range, though I find that the staff are probably not the most helpful. They do try and help to an extent... though many of them don't have a lot of product knowledge about the section that they are in.

Since the move, I've yet to have a positive experience at this store- though in fairness, I only utilise the craft section. It's entirely possible it's just this section that's problematic. So many things are unpriced, yet the scanners never seem to work and the staff don't seem to like it when you ask for a price check. The craft goods are poorly cared for, the papers and ribbons especially are usually warped, frayed, or otherwise damaged (and sadly, this rarely results in lowered prices).

The craft section in general is disorganised to the point of messy; in most stores staff go around during the day to tidy, but I've yet to see the craft section in anything other than shambles. The isles are small, which is odd given the size of the store itself, and if someone has a trolley, it's best to come back later. It's pretty common to have lots of empty shelves, too. This tends to be my last resort store rather than somewhere I frequent.

An aside, though: if you go to this store, be careful in the car park! It seems a lot of people aren't sure who has right of way when, which can lead to some less than fun situations. Drive slow, leave space, and avoid like the plague if you're not a confident driver!

Went into Spotlight to find Halloween costumes 2 weeks before Halloween. The staff went above and beyond when we couldn't find the costume my husband was after. They went through their surplus stock, and then called numerous other stores for us. They also offered to have it sent from another store so we wouldn't have to travel.

This shop continues to disappoint since relocating to everton park from kedron, Return policy is a disgrace, and service is terrible. I recently bought an unsuitable item which I was refused a refund on because it wasn't faulty, but was not of sufficient quality to do the job required of it. I no longer shop there unless I need a piece of fabric which I already understand is not returnable anywhere.
