I am extremely fussy, i am from the Mornington Peninsula and i jump from hair dresser to hair dresser as i know exactly what i want and if i dont get it the first time then i will move onto the next...I was paying upto nearly $400 a pop in the city and still wasnt 100% satisfied which was becoming very frustrating! Also the customer service provided made me feel as though i had to buy products which was also very uncomfortable. When I see a salon that charges cheap prices i hestitate because we are all programmed to think "we get what we pay for" after reading the reviews of Savon hair i thought stuff this what have i got to loose, if i dont like it then it's only $100 down the drain rather than $400. As soon as i arrived Jan & Kirby made me feel so relaxed, they are very bubbly, happy and funny ladies! I am always usually the last to leave the salon my hair takes 4 hours, Kirby had a consultation with me we spoke about colours she studied my picture and we dicussed in detail to try and match the picture as close as possible. Within 2 hours i was out the door, and let me tell you never before have i had so many compliments, i have all the girls from work booking in with Savon Hair plus their kids! Service i should of been getting in the city, and only cost me $95...one hell of a happy customer!

I moved to Frankston this week and was dreading trying to find a decent hairdresser. I had liked the one I used to go to in Vermont South and it took me a while to find that one.

After reading the reviews online I decided to give Jan a call. She did a full head of foils and a haircut and I am thrilled with the result! She really nailed the colour perfectly. I told her I wanted it very blonde. I think this is the best result I've ever had - the colour is just gorgeous (she used 2 colours) and the haircut is great too! And the price was also excellent. I sent my hubby to her last night and he also got a great haircut at a really good price!

Guess I've had beginner's luck this time. I have found my permanent hair dresser now!

Go here if you want great quality service that you normally find in the more expensive salons at a much more affordable price. I think they are particularly good on hair colouring here.

As a single mum, I don't treat myself often & the last time I did I went to a supposedly award winning salon and received the worse customer service and hair that I repeatedly said I didn't want. It really put me off hairdressers for a while..
Then after going through a tonne of reviews I decided to try Savon Hair and met Kirby and her mum Jan..
Kirby listened to everything I did and didn't want and the end result I was after, and did her magic..! I've never been happier and have gone back several times since and have no intentions of going anywhere else! :)
The environment is professional, friendly and I find myself having conversations with Jans clients as Kirby does my hair.. It's just so cosey and I love the comfort I feel hanging out as my hair develops..
Love this place and Kirby is my favourite hairdresser by far! Would recommend to anyone :)

Amazing!!! The girls are very friendly, Jan looked after me and really listened to what I wanted, I came away with exactly what I envisioned and it cost me $140 less than the previous salon I was going to for the same service. Restyle cut, colour and blow wave cost me $85!!!! I am so happy and would recommend Savon Hair & Beauty to anyone concerned about changing hairdressers or looking to save money but still wanting an experienced and brilliant hairdresser. Love love love my hair!!!

I have been going to Kirby and Jan's Salon for over 6 years. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of their work is 5 stars. I moved away from the area and now drive 45mins as i refuse go else where

Family owned & operated with friendly staff & a very affordable service.
I have been going there for 1.5yrs now. It's a very relaxed & comfortable atmosphere and you can always have a good chat/laugh with the ladies.

They listen to what you want, but also offer their expert opinion in which I trust. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

I have been going to Savon for years. I am NEVER dissappointed with my hair the stylists are certainly talented with great advice of what would suit.
I love going there, its a family run business, always friendly and fun; and best of all its affordable.
