This is a beautiful cinema. It makes going to the cinema an absolute pleasure. The cinemas are always clean and tidy and always draw a good crowd. (No jaffas down the aisles!)

I found the atmosphere is great, most movies are available, but prices are expensive for popcorn and drinks. Tickets are usual prices but i still think too pricey.

I love Rivoli's beautiful Art Deco exterior and interior - it is simply breath taking and make you feel like that you have stepped back into the time. It is always a plus that the theater never gets jam packed! If you are after a classy movie experience, Rivoli is the place you should be!

One of my favourite cinemas in melbourne, always clean and tidy and the old school cinema feel! The cinemas have never been PACKED, nor are they overloaded with school kids like most Hoyts cinemas! Always a great experience and wonderful restaurants across the road to make for a great experience

Approximate cost: $16

Part of the Village Cinemas team. Gives a nice olden day feeling. Cinemas are very clean. They have mini stations with popcorn and other snacks set up in the very big cinemas.

the renovation managed to retain the old feel of the rivoli with much more added. it's a state of the art multiplex type cinema and great for choice
the only issue i have is the lack of "savoury/non fattening" snacks etc...it's the same old diet of maltesers, coke, popcorn as it is elsewhere, would be good if they could think outside the box more...but maybe that's what comes with the chain ownership?

The quality of these cinemas are very good. The seats are comfy and the screen and sound quality is also high. Always plenty of movie variety too. great place to watch a movie on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Approximate cost: $15

Often showing the arthouse films that rarely show in mainstream cinemas, the rivoli and its gorgeous art nouveau interiors is a cinema well worth visiting. Although the place can tend to get a bit busy, its position- near camberwell junction- is convenient if you're after a dinner/movie combo.

The Rivoli is a classic cinema that has boomed since it was revamped years ago. I found the ticket staff are always polite and efficient in directing people to the right cinema. The candy bar is quite expensive. On a recent visit (evening) it seemed that not enough staff were on for the number of people wanting service at the candy bar. Seating is comfortable - great sound - love the decor :)

This is a franchise cinema that still holds it old fashion and local cinema appeal. It had a revamp some 10 years ago which has left it with a very comfortable and funky atmosphere. Be warned this is probably the most popular cinema in the area so expect a crowd for popular movies that have been recently released.
