Had some great times at this place. The food is great pub food and isn't at all expensive. The serving sizes are huge .The atmosphere is great with lots of live music and an area outside to sit and have a drink and listen to the music and just chill out.

Good menu with pub food and some more upmarket items. Had great lamb shanks and mash in the middle of winter, last time I was there had nice calamari but the salad was pretty ordinary - had obviously been in the fridge for a while, would've thrown it out and made fresh had I pulled it out of the fridge at home.
Nice lounge area at the back, to sit and enjoy coffee and dessert.

Great pub in the North Hobart district which has a bottle shop, oasis gaming venue and a large cafe restaurant area. They often have live bands in the afternoon on weekends, and in the evening.
There are tables outside where you can sit and enjoy a drink or your food.
The menu is quite varied so there's bound to be something there for everyone.

Great lunchtime menu offering well priced meals, eg lasagna and salad for $10. Food service is relatively quick although there weren't many customers, so I'm not sure how fast it would be if there were a lot of customers.

Unfortunately as with most pubs in Hobart, to get into the pub you have to walk through a cloud of smoke as the smokers sit/stand at the entrances. This may be a turn off for families.

Approximate cost: $10+
