Have often stopped by the Quandong Cafe in Quorn for morning or afternoon tea. They have a great menu and the cafe has a lovely ambiance to it with lots of artworks. Great Aussie softdrink available and awesome lemon meringue pie!
Food sounded appealing, and as We entered the decor was fitting for the theme of the street, 100yo antiques, but then when We got to the counter, she opened her mouth and she couldn't explain that a 'railway sleeper' was an open grilled sandwich, from there it got worse, the food was overpriced and disappointing, not to mention the human hairs in it, and the drink, a lime spider, wasn't even mixed, just lime syrup and icecream in a glass with a side can of lemonade, then We couldn't get any more service because feeding the plants in the street was more important than the customers until I raised My voice, unfortunately because of this We didn't stay to try the delicious looking quondong cheesecake or apple pie...
Approximate cost: $17 Lunch
Nice place to stop for lunch whilst travelling through quorn. Good menu, good food, friendly staff. They have lots of souvenirs, arts and crafts to look and and buy in the cafe.
