Yeah I like their food, but they don't seem to understand if you want to make a few tweaks or adjustments to the menu.
Like last night, went in and tried to see if we could get a platter of sorts of different meat curries. I mean they have them for the entree and vegetable curries.
However, after 3 different attempts, my descriptions didn't get through to them about what exactly I was after.
Still, good food and this little episode isn't going to stop me coming here.

I have also had some issues with them understanding me, but there curries are delicious and that's why we keep going back

I wouldn't really eat in here as it is not really that sort of restaurant, it is ok, but takeaway is the better option. The staff very friendly and their curries so authentic, Their menu is quite extensive and prices extremely reasonable from around $11 for mains. They do chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo particularly well. I cannot forget to mention their onion bhaji, this is an absolute must try, I love it.

My friends and I had just been to the marion cinema and decided to pick up some takeaway from here. I could not believe how big the menu was with prices starting from a low $5. We tried the onion bhajji, samosa and pakoras for entrees and for mains the lamb vindaloo, tikka masala and beef madras. Also ordered garlic naan and tandoori roti, everyone absolutely enjoyed their meals, so very tasty and my vindaloo was 'hot', just the way I love it. The serving sizes could have been a bit larger but everyone was certainly satisfied.

This is one place that serves some great authentic indian food, but it really isn't somewhere I would site down and have a meal, especially dinner. But fabulous for takeaway.

I was impressed with how quickly our meals were ready and service was very friendly.

Approximate cost: $from $6.50

This restaurant is owned by the New Indian Market next door. They are lovely friendly people and they offer some really great tasting food at really good prices. The curries are around $11 each, and the entree's around $5, great value. An absolute must is their garlic naan and beef madras curry not to forget their butter chicken. Yum! Very fast service and delicious food. Unfortunately for people living nearby they do not deliver. Being a lover of indian food, this certainly is one to try.

Approximate cost: $11
