Cantonese, Chinese and Yum Cha. Roomy establishment, funky decor, good prices.
My meal was the sweet and sticky pork ribs followed by a friend icecream with sauce. Cost approx $45. Cooked to perfection.
I would return here again

Great food with a sizeable sitting area with great atmosphere. Dim Sums and everything on the menu cooked with perfection. They also have delicious cocktails and mocktail. The lobster dumpling, crab fried rice and the pork ribs are to die for.

Delicious Chinese cuisine with great atmosphere. The perfect place to wind down after work. They also have delicious cocktails and mocktails which are definitely worth trying. Pricier than your average chinese restaurant but worth every cent!

Amazing food and excellent ambiance! The dumpling dishes are especially exceptional and the fried ice cream is to die for! If you are a group of 6+ people, DEFINITELY make a booking. If you are a party of <6 people, expect very long queues (even if you get there early at 6pm). If you come later in the night, queues may be shorter. So I would advise getting more people so you can book ahead

I would recommend visiting Mr Wong later at night or on night that you don't mind waiting for a long time for a table! Last time I wanted to eat here, we were advised on a 2.5 hour wait time - this was on a Thursday at 8pm. This time we were very lucky, arriving at around 9pm on a Sunday night, we were seated within 15 minutes. However, the cocktails are fabulous so as long as you're not in a rush, having a few drinks at the bar is a great way to pass the time.

My partner and I ordered two of their special entrees - Duck spring rolls with hoisin sauce and fried pork wontons, which were very yummy and good value for money at ~$12 for 3 fairly large spring rolls and ~$8 for the wontons. We also had the yellowfin tuna with sweet wasabi, soy and ginger starter ($20) which was BEAUTIFUL. An incredible balance of flavours featuring bright red, fresh tuna sashimi.

For mains we chose the steamed fish fillets with leek and ginger ($34) , and another special - the pork belly served with mustard and hoisin. The fish was a beautiful chinese style steamed fish in a deliciously fragrant and flavourful broth-sauce with plenty of coriander. The pork belly dish was nothing special to look at - very simply three big strips of pork belly conveniently sliced up into bit sized cubes which is very useful so that you don't have to saw through the crackling yourself, but the flavour and texture was incredible with crisp, golden crackling on each piece.

Finally, we had the mango pudding ($16) for dessert, which looked beautiful and tasted even better, every mango lover will enjoy this dish!

To top of a great night, our waitress was absolutely lovely and attentive. Would highly recommend Mr Wong, don't let the wait time put you off like it almost did for me after the first time.

This place is awesome, it's massive and always busy but the service and food is top notch. I would go far as to say Top 3 chinese I have ever had. Great yum cha platter to start and then superb pork belly, beef and black bean and fried rice as mains.

Approximate cost: $30

Huge establishment boasting approx 200 seats. A little bit more pricey than most yum cha places but the quality of the food and the way its cooked, makes up for it. Off memory 4 dumplings cost me approx $15-$16.
The crispy chicken roll is a must!. The menu range is huge and there is something for everyone.

Approximate cost: $15

Food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent, which explains its big queues and how busy the place is. The steamed dumplings in particular were excellent. However, it was way too pricey--you can get similar quality food elsewhere in Sydney without paying the premium.

The food here is great and authentic, I like the sesame prawn toasts, roast pork belly and scallops with XO sauce and tofu here. The service is good, but it is a bit pricey, so will return for special occasions.
