My family and I love visiting the Melbourne Zoo. We try to get there at least once a year. There are many different things to see at the Zoo and there is always new attractions such as new Baby elephants or orangutans being born. It is even better now that kids are free.

The last time we went to the Zoo was in February when the Zoo Twilights were on and we got to see BABBA in concert. The atmosphere was alive with music and sounds of the animals near by plus we got to see a few Zoo Keeper shows.

A fantastic time was had by all.

Kids are free public holidays, weekends and school holidays now which makes the zoo even more cost effective. More than enough to visit a few times as we always find there is too much to do in just one day. Theres also twilight concerts, childrens concerts (we recently saw Justine Clarke at the zoo and the kids loved it) etc
Plenty to see and do :) I recommended purchasing a zoo membership as it pays for itself in just a couple of visits and allows unlimited entry all year to melbourne zoo, werribee open range zoo and healseville sanctuary! :)

We go to the zoo every year, its such a great experience, for young and old! The have a massive variety of animals, new enclosures, its just always a fun day out

We love going to Melbourne Zoo, it is such a beautiful place to visit for a full day or just an afternoon stroll around.

The grounds are beautiful and the enclosures are well maintained and presented.

I simply love going to the Melbourne Zoo and so do my family. We have been heaps of times and every time we go there seems to be something different to see. I especially like visiting the Elephants and the Orangutans. The last time we went was to the Twilight Jazz at the Zoo as well as being entertained we got to see lots of animals too. This is a must see for visitors to our City and for anyone that just wants to have a good day out.

The zoo is great for our children & us . They lov seeing the animals, The is so much choice it teachers your child all about the diffrent animals in the world. The food is pretty poor though but we take a picnic & just buy a ice-cream. we went on the weekend to see the baby elephant he is so cute mali . heaps of car parking even a train station if going on public transport.

Melbourne Zoo is amazing, we go there at least once a fortnight and now with the new Under the sea section opened i want to go there even more. It's child friendly and staff are always able to help you and do so with a smile on their face. Zoo keepers and other staff are always busy at work and appear to have a lot of work to do, and it shows just how hard they do work, it is a clean friendly safe place to visit with children

I have been to a few different zoo's - I liked this one the best, it's a really nice place with so much to look at, the enclosures are great and give you the best view of the animals, my partner and I had a very enjoyable day here.

Our company recently organised a family day out at Melbourne Zoo followed by a BBQ lunch. We absolutely loved the experience. The zoo is well maintained and a fantastic place to take young kids!!
