Our sewer in the backyard was blocked again 6 days after the previous plumber from a big company came to clear. We started to try another plumber, and found McDonald Plumbing on Truelocal and the service was confirmed by Karl to be carried on the same day. Karl came on time, inspected the site, cleared the blockage, did paper test. He is friendly, always willing to answer any questions, we highly recommend Karl.

I booked Karl to fix some taps and ask for advice about a broken sprinkler system. He was very informative, happy to answer questions and gave good general advice. He was also punctual, efficient and reasonably priced.

Based on the reviews on this site, we asked Karl if he could help fix a problem soaker system along our very long driveway. It had been initially installed by landscape gardeners who had only put in a very small diameter feeder hose to the soaker hose which limited the water flow. Karl came and inspected the problem. He arrived promptly on time, advised what needed to be done, (which included having to drill a larger hole in the concrete wall of the storm water pit through which the hose was placed). Karl did everything he said he would do promptly and efficiently. He did the job perfectly, with minimum fuss and no mess and now we have a sprinkler system that actually works properly.

Karl came promptly for emergency work at our home in Box Hill. He was thorough and professional and the final quote was very fair. We have since used McDonald Plumbing for our bathroom renovations and would highly recommend them to anyone.
