If you are looking for cheap accommodation without staying in a backpackers, using AirBNB or being too from the city, the the Marco Poli Motor Inn is one of your best bets.

Nothing flash here, but it does represent value for money .

We stayed here as we had to be at Sydney airport the next morning for a 6 am flight. We are a family of 5 and found it difficult to get accommodation that wasn't super expensive that would fit us all in. This motel is super budget but we only needed somewhere to sleep so it suited us. The room was tired looking as was the bathroom. There were tea & coffee making facilities and toiletries provided in the bathroom. The car parking was in a secure gated area and was included in price. If you are checking out before reception opens, there is a box at reception where you leave your key. If you are looking for budget family accommodation then this would be a good choice but don't expect anything flash. For the price it was just fine for what we needed.

Approximate cost: $165

i guess you get what you pay for here in this motel. it is pretty old looking and the rooms arent that great.the family room is a good cheap option if you are heading out to the city and u want to stay in a motel for the night so you dont have to drive home. it had 5 beds. this hotel needs refurbishment. however i would still stay there when i hit the town again.

My family have stayed at this motel many times before.
This Motel is terrible. The family room on the top floor has water damage to the walls and the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom ceiling has fallen in above the shower. We have only been in this room once before and we demanded to be moved as the room was in such a state. But this time we put up with the room as it was easter and there were no other rooms available. We woke in the middle of the night with "bed bugs" all over us. When we called the front desk no one answered. we then tried another number which was not answered. We even called my parents at 2 am to try to get through to the office to get us some help.
We eventualy found another room at another motor inn and we left. I have still not gotten over the experience. When my parents confronted the owners the next morning they blamed "the foreigners."
My family have stayed at this motel many times before and have been given the family room just below the top floor which smells and is grubby but for the price we endured it. When my 8 year old son found a glass ice pipe (used for smoking the drug ice) under the bed I was told that the foreigners bring them in to the motel.
We will never use this Motel again. A very traumatising experience.
