At short notice when my elderly aunt suddenly took ill, we made the choice to care for at home given the harsh COVID palliative care options that we faced. You were able to organise an adjustable bed that met with hospital standards with a perfect soy based mattress to provide the ultimate comfort for my aunt as she lived through her final passage of life. What impressed us was the design of the adjustable bed and being able to fit into her apartment bedroom (the doctors and nurses assured us that this was not possible meaning that the bed would need to be placed in her living/more public area of her apartment). Your guidance as to choice of mattress meant exceptional comfort and support so that the home nursing care could minimise the need to turn her and as a result, mitigate the pain she would have otherwise suffered. The doctor had recommended an air mattress with electronic motor, partly because it could be hired/reused. It was certainly not a choice my aunt would select - she did not want any noise in her room from the hum of the motor running the air mattress, but to her, comfort not price was her main requirement. Your team was polite, respectful and professional in all areas. From the moment I started talking to Frank the consultant at this business I knew straight away that we were in good hands. His knowledge, expertise, ability to transparently and honestly answer all our questions the devoted time he gave us was the best customer service experience I have ever had. Having a science degree makes me lean heavily on facts and not sweeping generalisations, he validated all my questions and never once had a go at the competitors. We got a great price and he was furthermore accommodated our specific health needs. I would recommend this establishment in a heartbeat and have already sung its praises to family and friends. The customer experience was memorable and the beds themselves have changed our lives, my husband who suffers from back pain due to lumbar injury woke up in the morning with very little pain after the first night of sleeping on these mattresses. We recently purchased the Reverie PowerBase 2 x King Singles. The beds have the cell technology and various memory sleep positions. This is our most comfortable bed and we have enjoyed better sleeps during the past 8 weeks. Andrew’s knowledge and genuine care during the selection process was first class. The installation was carried out by very attentive and caring people.

My husband who is severely disabled and myself have slept on a queen size waterbed for over 25years. The waterbed was initially recommended to save pressure areas. We were never going to come off our waterbed but due to worsening health conditions we had to look at a bed that offered near complete inbuilt protection and high/low capabilities.

We met Andrew who was recommended through an occupational therapist and we have never looked back. We followed the process of bed mapping to show how we slept I did this as well and then we tried several mattresses in store and Andrew was able to bring some for my husband to try using a hoist at our home.

Andrew whose primary role wouldn't be for people with a disability offers a most wonderful service, he is a very genuine and caring person and this shows in his service, excellent. Most bedding shops we had walked into previously staff had hidden at the thought of how hard we would be to help.

We are now nearly a year on our new bed and have never looked back, my husband’s hip doesn't show signs of pressure and I am more comfortable than I was on my waterbed, I was very concerned.

Part of Andrew's brief was to keep our bedroom looking as normal (not enormously modified to the needs of a severely disabled person) he managed it perfectly our bedroom is beautiful. Andrew was even able to put us in touch with a bedding furniture manufacturer who has now made us an oversized bed head that matches our bedroom suite, our original was only queen size.

Andrew has since helped us replace my husband’s hospital bed (weekday) mattress by following the same process and each time carefully working with our Occupational Therapist and us to get everything right.

He has been able to give us advice on pillows and mattress protectors, which have all helped enormously with pressure care, and care of an old worn out wife.

We recently purchased a new king bed memory foam mattress from the Sleep Doctor. Andrew who owns the business was excellent, very knowledgable and helpful. But the real test of the mattress was getting it home! It is amazing! We have quite interrupted sleep with a toddler and pre-schooler in the house - and prior to this mattress, my husband found it very difficult to get back to sleep after being awoken by the kids because he is such a light sleeper. This mattress has made a world of difference to his sleep quality. It supports each person's body weight so that you cannot feel the other person in the bed - and allows for an easy transition to sleep. I would definitely shop at Sleep Doctor again. This mattress has changed our lives! And Andrew and his team were wonderful.

Upon relocating to Australia, I needed to buy a new bed which would be equivalent in comfort and quality as the bed I had in my home town (a top of the line bed purchased from Wellington Beds when I managed one of their stores).

With the help of Andrew and Dane at Sleep Doctor, I have been successful in achieving this and I am THRILLED! I have now been sleeping in my new bed for over a week, and I just love it. It is providing all the support I need whilst providing just the right amount of comfort layering to avoid any pressure points. I am happy to report I am still pain free (when I don't have the right bed I suffer aching and this negatively impacts on the quality of my sleep).

I am so happy with the quality and comfort of my new bed, I wanted to provide some feedback by way of recommendation for the service and expert advice I received from the team at Sleep Doctor.

I have to add, the delivery team were great too, also friendly yet professional. They phoned me the day before delivery to advise an approximate timeframe which was really helpful, then confirmed it on the day. They were great.
