I really, really want to say nice things about this place. The service is good, and they're reasonably priced; I've had a couple of really nice felafel rolls there at lunch time. But it's the bad experiences that make the most lasting impressions, I think.

I've twice had a kebab or gozleme at this place with bad cheese. And there is nothing worse than biting into a hot kebab and noticing, right as you swallow, the rancid after taste of off cheese on your tongue.

Put it down to bad luck--my husband's eaten here a few times and has never had a bad experience--but I'm a little dissapointed. Check them out if you have a kebab craving and you're in the area. But maybe skip the cheese on your kebab.

Approximate cost: $10

Hi Hoothoot, while we appreciate the ‘heads-up’, it must be said that ‘bad luck’ has little to do with potential food poisoning. Incidents like this remind us of a cockroach (or other vermin) infestation: for every ‘one’ you ‘can’ see, there are many others that you can not. The same applies to inadequate hygiene. We would recommend that you lodge a ‘formal’ complaint. After all, those most susceptible to food poisoning (children, the elderly and those with compromised immune systems) are likely to suffer detrimentally and become another (deceased) food poisoning statistic. Regards, Reeces
