This is a lovely neighborhood cafe. Their coffee is good, they are friendly and super kid friendly. The food is nice and simple cafe fair. They have a good selection of different types of drinks in the fridge. The decor is retro, and cool. We enjoy coming here as a family.

This is an interesting place. Went here for a late afternoon munch with a few friends and it's certainly got some good features.

I loved the way all the crockery was different, but all retro style - each plate, cup etc was a different patterned china which goes with the whole retro feel of the place - black and white tiles on the floor, laminex tubular leg tables, advertising on the walls etc.

The food/snacks were good and tasty - quiches, little pies and appetizers, slices etc. But the portions were small and a bit overpriced. Coffee was good but the service a little slow.

Their other claim to fame is the "child friendly" aspect and while it's nice to have this place where children can run around in a backyard while parents have a coffee and chat, one wonders if there's actually a limit which should be set.

Worth a pop in to check it out, but I won't be a regular.

Approximate cost: $Pie and salad, toasted focaccia etc not much under $10

Awesome kid friendly cafe, with areas that the kids can run off and play by themselves whilst Mum & Dad have a quiet cuppa. Excellent food, great coffee and great atmosphere. Love the Baby Chinos :)

Glad you finally found it open. Sounds like it was worth the wait.

Jellybread is a great little retro cafe open for breakfast and lunch and caters for both adults and little people. The menu is simple, but good and best of all there is nothing over $15! I can highly recommend the homemade banana bread - it's fantastic as a treat for breakfast or morning tea. They have a playroom for the kids and an outdoor sitting area around the back complete with outdoor toys. Overall, I found this to be a nice place to go and relax and best of all it's place where the kids will be happy too.

Approximate cost: $Less than $15

I went down there for breaky this morning and was surprised to see them shut on a Sunday - can't wait to try it out though. Looks very cute!
