I met a friend here one morning after hearing some good reviews about this local cafe. The staff were friendly and took our order promptly and our drinks arrived quickly. The banana smoothie I had was just delicious.

i walked in and was greeted by a big smile, and two friendly staff did there best to make me feel comfortable

we ordered drinks first, and my coffee was perfect, temperature and strength, and my friends banana smoothie looked absolutely delicious

we then ordered the haloumi breaky and the smashed avocado. both came out very quick

both tasted so fresh and full of flavor

we then had caked and i had the baileys chocolate mouse which was delightful and my friend had the new york cheese cake which again was so fresh

overall our visit was pleasant and would highly reccomend for anyone in the area

We tried this cafe as it was new to the area. Jars has taken the place of where Fine and Dandy foodstuffs used to be, so the location is good, near the tram stop and across from Albion supermarket. Unfortunately, the cafe failed to deliver. There was a strong smell of oil when we walked in (perhaps they were cooking but it was not pleasant), and the coffee was not good. Far too milky, little froth, and no strong coffee taste. For the price of a regular at about 4.00, it was disappointing. Even the complimentary chocolates at the register were old and should have been checked before being offered to customers (going white on the outside).
What can I say, I don't expect that much but this place failed to deliver. We won't go back as it is just not worth it and there are other places nearby that offer better value and quality.
