Every now and then there will be vouchers/coupons for imax, best to take advantage of those because yes I agree the price is a little expensive.

Yes, I used a 20% off voucher. There's also the Entertainment book voucher, but that can only be used for certain movies.

Its fun as a novelty BUT the price is very expensive! Some movies doesn't really need to be 3D anyway BUT we saw Mission Impossible and it was too much!

Approximate cost: $30

I think I would find this too much - why pay to get a headache when they are freely available elsewhere...

I saw the Hobbit and I think I may have enjoyed it just as much in a regular theatre.

I personally love the IMAX. The #D experience is much better that in any other cinema in the world. After all, it is the biggest screen in the worls. It is a bit pricy but it is an activity not to be done too often. It is worth seeing the films made especially for the IMAX. The one bad thing about it is that the popcorn is too small and the times are a bit inconvenient( as there is just one screen).

Approximate cost: $30

I agree that IMAX is more of a one-off experience.

Pretty pricey but worth it for some films. Took the kids to see Under the Sea 3D and they were holding out their arms and hands to try and touch the 3D projected images of marine life under the sea.

Approximate cost: $30 for adults

So great on special occasions. The experience of the large screen is very moving and I enjoy watching those 3D documentaries. I find it a relaxing experience.

I just loved going to the Imax ,it's really well priced if you fell like doing something a bit special . Depending on the movie it can be a totally"minblowing" experience . With the 3D effects its a good adrenalin rush aswell and the sound quality is astounding. My favourite movies at the "Imax" was Inception ,Under the Sea and Shrek#3. I highly recommend it seriously if you want to do something that's just a bit exciting and fun for all the family .

Approximate cost: $75

It is such a great experience to watch movies or documentaries on a large good quality movie screen. The sound system is great as well. I would definitely come back to IMAX Theatre in the future

The staff is quite friendly and helpful. We just watched Avatar at the IMAX Theatre and the experience was amazing. Recommond to people who easily feel dizzy to sit a bit further back from the screen.

Quite breathtaking, the screen literally covers your entire field of vision. Unfortunately this may causes nausea and vomiting for some people. It has great sound systems and vibration, when combined with 3D screenings, quite literally throw viewers into the movie.

Approximate cost: $30
