Iga are a good store. They have alot of things bigger supermarkets dont, and they are super friendly, although a bit more pricy sometimes
They have New Zealand lollies- pineapple lumps and chocolate fish. The bakery stocks white choc and cranberry cookies. The freezer always contains interesting ice-creams (chocolate lime Kiwi was the last one I got). Packets of flower or vegetable seeds are $1. I love the quirks.
Check outs are well maned. Ham is always the cheapest of any other supermarket. Always fresh, however there bakery items are very limited and not always the freshest
I love IGA! They have a great variety - love the pineapple cadbury choc :D Definately would go there again
Approximate cost: $100
This store seems to exemplify what the IGA ads tell you. They always offer to help, greet you with a smile and will source anything (within reason) that you require. The store is set out so that it is easy to find anything and is open long hours for convenience.
Approximate cost: $50
I am particularly fond of the bakery section in this store. Groceries are too spread out though and it takes me too long to do a full shop. I usually go there for the bakery and just a few other items.
