Meg is wonderful. She accommodated me even though the place was busy. Although I had to wait a little bit for my turn, the staff made sure I was entertained. Also I loved the results of my little makeover. So will come back again.
I tried this place just before Christmas last year because my sister in law bought me a voucher from here for eyelash extensions. I'd never had them done before and I was a little hesitant but thought I'd give it a go. I really shouldn't of even bothered. Firstly the service is pretty bad, the girl who took my booking and put the extensions on felt the need to keep telling me how busy she was and that she shouldn't of done the vouchers just before Christmas because she was too busy to fit in all these customers with vouchers. I'm sorry but is it professional to tell me that? She also had obviously been smoking because it's hard to cover the smell of cigerettes when your hands are right on someone's face. In the end eyelash extensions are not for me, I found them uncomfortable. For anyone wanting to try eyelash extensions I'd say try somewhere else.

I purchased a voucher for eyelash extensions at Gloss and Glow Beauty. The receptionist was rude as was the beautician who performed my extensions. The lady put tape underneath my eyes to prevent the glue from sticking to them however, when taking the tape off, she ripped it off like wax which left a large blister underneath my eyes which lasted 2 days before turning into a scab. The procedure was advertised as 1 hour but only lasted 20 minutes, and I was supposed to have the option to choose between mink (preferred) and silk lashes but when I arrived was informed I was only entitled to the silk. I have had my lashes on now for 3 weeks and they are painful and clumped together. It looks like I have 5 think lashes on each eye. They are painful and irritating. When I rang to get advice about this, the receptionist was once again rude and offered me no assistance. I have, and will continue to spread the word that Gloss and Glow Beauty at Morningside is a disgrace of place and will NEVER return
