Danny's Kopitiam is an authentic Malaysian hawker style restaurant. It features an open kitchen concept so you can see the chef in action. The fried rockling fish hor fun is always a favourite for us.

Unfortunately, this establishment is occupied by a rude and obnoxious male owner/chef who does not hesitate to raise his voice at customers, even when the customer is just trying to put in a food order. Given the multitude of good restaurants in Glen Waverley, this cafe does not justify a repeat visit.

Perhaps one of the most authentic Malaysian hawker street food in Glen Waverley. The har mee and the char keuy teow is a must try. Pricing is also average for this type of hawker style food.

This was our first visit. Although the decor is basic this is made up for by the friendly,efficient staff and high quality of the food.We'll be back.

This place specialises in delicious and authentic Malaysian and Singaporean cuisine. Danny Ko and his wife, Fee Hun, the owners, were the original owners and chefs of Penang Coffee House in Hawthorn from the late 70s to the early 90s. If you are a fan of Penang Char Kuey Teow and Har Mee, then this is definitely the place to be. Having tried out many other joints in Melbourne that serve these two famous Penang street food, theirs are by far the best and most authentic!
