Being gluten free isn't always easy but when I was told about gluten free waffles from here I had to try and I wasn't disappointed! They were amazing! The shop is very cozy and the staff take a lot of pleasure in what they do! I have tried a few of their chocolates and there were yum and there is so many to choose from! A must if your in Hahndorf!

After all of our other snacking in Hahndorf and the Adelaide Hills region, we weren't sure we'd fit in the treats on offer here. However we made it our mission and it was well worth it! Their waffles were delicious and outshone anything I can make at home or what you get in a fast food style joint. Their hot chocolates and coffees are pure decadence, and the cafe itself is cute and cozy in Winter. Well worth a visit!

Mmmmm Yum! I have a sweet tooth and I love this place. Whenever we are in Hahndorf we always go here before heading off home just so I can get my fix. Certainly is busy on a hot day, but worth the wait. Friendly efficient staff and delicious ice-cream.

When we discovered Chocolate@No 5 sold icecream we could not resist making a purchase. So much to choose from!! However we chose a chocolate cone each and it was fabulous. Full of flavour. Must try to appreciate

If you want yummy chocolate things, this is the place to go! However, be prepared to spend a lot of money. I ordered the waffles to share with my daughter and was surprised to find that "waffles" meant just one waffle. Yes, it was a big one but I was expecting more than one given the menu said waffles. $10 for a very large cup of hot chocolate was a lot to pay also but it was delicious and made with real belgian chocolate. All in all, it was definitely a yummy experience but I don't think I got my money's worth.

For lovers of great chocolate, this is definitely a place to visit. The drinks are absolutely delicious and the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is small but feels cosy and has a lot of character. I absolutely love the chocolate crackles and am ALWAYS craving one!

Attention!!!! If you have a very sweet tooth, then I suggest you go here. My friends had been wanting me to try this place with them, so finally I said yes (I have a sweet tooth, but nothing like theirs). Anyway, we all had a hot chocolate, it was delicious. I also tried one of their belgian waffles, as everyone was going on and on about them. Well, they really were great with ice cream. So much to choose from, everyone else had something more chocolatey, like the mud cake. I have to say that the chocolate sundae really looked good. Oh! what am I saying, everything looked and tasted great. I certainly had my chocolate fix! A must place to go whether it is for coffee or chocolate.

I have been to Hahdorf many times but It was 3 months ago that I tried this shop and I love it. I love the hot chocolate and they also serve belgian waffle. I love the original belgian waffle with chocolate and ice cream. Now, every time I visit hahndorf, chocolate number 5 is a must and I actually start telling my friend about this shop.

Anything chocolate you could imagine. We went here for an impromptu engagement party and the staff were excellent and shared in the excitement of our group. The coffee is probably the best in Hahndorf. They also sell gift items (we took a treat home for the kids). This place is a winner!
