Food was nice. I ordered a breakfast bruschetta. Fresh ingredients and well sized.
Friendly staff. Seemed happy and chatty. Will eat there again.

Had lunch here recently. We both had the beef burger, was pretty good.
The relish was really delicious.
Service was good, friendly, as expected.
Was very noisy - traffic noise from outside (we were inside) and music from the speakers - there were only a couple of other patrons but we struggled to have a conversation.
Other than that, we were happy, and would happily eat here again.

It is a relaxing environment with a classy feel.
Great location and nice staff.
Only trouble is it's a bit pricey - but then again so is everyone these days.

when i need time out when i shop in newtown i visit cafe newtown has relaxed atmoshere a great cup of hot coffee

This is really a great place for relaxing and chatting. Very spacious and the staff are fabulous. Food was excellent and very fresh, fantastic coffee. would defiantly go back.

Place is a bit grotty, and everyone stares at you as it's right smack bam in the middle of king st intersection. The food was quite good. The service alright. A bit too expensive for a shabby looking cafe.

They make great coffee, the service is great, if you're ever in Newtown this is a good place to just sit down and relax; its in the middle of Newtown right by the station you wont miss it

The coffee here is some of the best in Sydney. Breakfast is especially good and their new menu offers variety. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed, especially on a weekend. They have a good dinner menu and live music on weekends.
