Sakura is run out of a suburban house, so only one client at a time. The atmosphere is relaxed, very clean with aromatherapy oils burning. Kelly puts you at ease. Loved sitting down to a foot bath before having a facial. My skin looked and felt great afterwards. The facial lasted an hour and I didn't want to leave. A great place to escape and pamper yourself

Went in for a cheap Sunday lunch. They have $15 lunch specials everyday of the week. I had the chicken. The food was as expected. It tasted nice, but it was nothing flash. We indulged in dessert and couldn't go past the banoffee pie with a chai latte. Yummo!!. Great place to catch up with friends.

I received a voucher as a gift and was keen to try it out as I had never been there before. The staff are all friendly. I was taken to a seat and given a glass of lemon flavoured water. Had a shampoo, cut and blow-dry. The stylist was fantastic. She explained what ideas she had and some techniques I might want to try at home. The massage chairs are fantastic when your hair is being washed. Great place to go if you want to feel like a queen.

A great hotel that has new owners. They have changed some of the menu, but they have a great cheap selection for $15. I've had the lamb cutlets and the chicken on the cheap menu and you get a full meal which is great for the price. The desserts and coffee are also good. Unfortunately they don't have a wide variety in the wine selection. That could use some improvement, but they do serve the standard varieties. Enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Would keep going back.

Went there with friends for dinner on a Friday. Glad we made a booking because it was packed. I had the veal scaloppini and it was delicious - full of flavour. One person had the chicken and it was a lot smaller in size compared to the other meals. The seafood risotto didn't have a lot of flavour. But the others raved about their steaks and roasts. Service was quick and a good wine selection. Would be keen to go back.

Great list of cocktails, great spot on the boardwalk. The meals were good, but not the best I've ever had. Glad to see they have a gluten free dessert menu, something that is lacking in Newie unless you want a bowl of ice cream.

They make a great cappuccino - not too strong and something you can drink straight away. The passionfruit custard tart is also a great thing to try, but their celebration cakes are a little pricey.

A little expensive, but the staff are so calming and professional. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. I went in for peels for acne and not once was I treated like I didn't belong there. The peels and skincare were of great quality and my skin responded well to the treatment.

Very clean salon. The staff are so friendly. They have massage chairs at the wash basins. I have not had a colour there yet, but the cuts are great. Such a good, young vibe there. They play music videos on the lcd screen which gives you something to watch when they're washing your hair. Great for pampering.

Quiet, hidden cafe in Hunter St, at the beach end of the street. I have only been there for lunch and just love the roasted vegetable salad. The coffee is good and they have an interesting range of shakes (like Tim Tam). The staff are friendly and everything is prepared right in front of you. There aren't a lot of tables, but a good place to sit and read the paper.Takeaway is also available.
